Everything was working fine until 2-3 days ago, when just nothing was
happening when I pressed key combinations. I reinstalled QS, with no effect.

I have two mor triggers (Open StartupDisk.prefpane and Open System

OSX 8.3, QS 1.0.0 (4000)

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for reading.

<pre>Boy, howdy, would I love me some Reminders app action in Quicksilver!

Maybe it can't happen, because (while I can invoke Siri on my iPhone to
walk through the creation of a time-dependant Reminder) there is no common
language Reminder invocation ability in MacOSX, but it would be so great if
I could just tell Quicksilver,

"Reminder (tab) Pick up the groceries tomorrow at 4pm (enter)"

...and the Reminder would be automatically created.

Amirite? Who wouldn't love that?

Catalog Issues

<pre>I have two issues with the catalog system, and I want to know if there is a
way around them:

1) Is there a way to remove a whole folder from the catalogue? I often want
to catalog all the contents of a folder except for one folder that it
contains. If I just deselect the folder from the contents list in the
catalogue, it only removes the folder itself, but leaves the contents
there. I can't lower the folder depth, because there are other folders in
the source folder that I want to see.

2) I have found that Quicksilver catalogues items twice if they are in the
catalog list twice. Some of my custom catalogue items conflict with the
catalog items in the default Quicksilver list, or with items added by
plugins, and it is annoying to have to deselect them from one of the
catalogue items, and it can be time consuming, especially if the item is an
entire folder (this links back to my first point).

Is there any way around these issues, and if not, is there any chance that
they will be fixed?

Text Editor Service Suddenly Stopped Appearing When I Have Text In First QS Panel

<pre>I've been using Writeroom as my default text editor for years. It has a
service named "New Writeroom Window Containing Selection". For years I've
been using this with QS &amp; it's been used so much it's now tied to the
letter 'W' so whenever I have text in the first panel I can tab right, type
a 'W', hold it down &amp; it'll automatically open a Writeroom window
containing whatever was in the first panel. Now it tries to Share with
Droplr when I do this (also a service of course so whatever's amiss it's
not how QS"S HANDLING

Until today.

Now the service doesn't appear at all in quicksilver.

If I look under "Actions" in preferences &amp; the action's still there &amp; it's
still available if I control click on an are of text &amp; look in "Services".
Also the equivalent service for Text Wrangler pops up if I try to use that
instead.

I've tried clearing caches &amp; restarting &amp; have checked I still have the
"Services" plugin installed.

Anything else I can try?

<pre>Regard me as a newbie since my skill with QS is limited to say the least!

With B65 I could type 'cmd-space .benign tab D return' to get Apple's
dictionary definition of 'benign'. I upgraded to QS-1 and this no longer
worked: possibly QS's dictionary handling was 32 bit. Somehow (I wish I
still knew how) I found that 'Lookup in Dictionary' was a replacement and
replacing the 'D' in the B65 string by 'LID' worked in QS-1.
However, a day or two later this no longer worked. I suspect that the cause
may be an automatic check for plugins each week that I have set up. I now
get the following block in Console Messages that seems related to QS and
dictionary.

Cannot adjust depth

<pre>I've just installed QS 1.0.0 on a relatively new laptop. I cannot adjust
the depth setting or alter the Types or Excluded Types fields for any
catalog entry. For most entries depth is 1. For a few it's a higher
number. The types fields are all empty.

I've been using QS for years on other laptops without seeing this behavior.
I suspect I'm missing something super basic. But I just can't think of it.
