I am facing the problem of launching chromium application directly from the

Thank you.

if yes, how does the app can talk to sensor device driver to get values

I am gratefully expecting someone who can give me valuable info (such as

Google Apps users - enable offline drive access for users

<pre>Hi,

Sending my wife abroad for a while and she wants to use her chromebook
offline. This would work fine if her documents were stored under a regular
*&lt; at &gt;gmail.com account, but I have a domain registered through Google where we
get the free Google Apps account, and this is where everything is.

I followed the directions in this link (
http://support.google.com/a/bin/answer.py?hl=en&amp;answer=1642623) and have
enabled all users to use google drive offline, but the option under
drive.google.com &gt; More... does not reveal 'Offline'.

I've tested an &lt; at &gt;gmail.com account and this worked fine on the chromebook,
its accounts under my personal domain that do not show the offline docs
option.

Any assistance would be appreciated!

Regards,
Andrew

I haven't done a built myself yet and would appreciate some help where I

Chromebook 3 (ARM) event counter IRQs and CPU affinity issues ...

<pre>This might be a bit esoteric for a Chrome OS discussion - but I am not sure
where else to post this question.

I have been developing a kernel module for the Linux 3.4 kernel that uses
the cycle counter and the event counters in the Exynos 5's PMU to generate
and respond to interrupts on counter overflow events.

From what I have been able to figure out so far, IRQ 170 corresponds to the
overflow counters on CPU 0 and IRQ 340 corresponds to the the overflow
counters on CPU 1.

I have set up interrupt handlers for these IRQs and set their affinity hint
for their correct CPUs,

As expected, all overflow interrupts on CPU 0 are sent to the IRQ handler
on CPU 0 - so my IRQ handler is working correctly for this core.

However, all of the overflow interrupts on CPU 1 are also sent to CPU 0 -
and CPU 0 cannot actually read the event counter overflow flags on CPU 1.
So the CPU 0 IRQ handler cannot actually correctly respond to the counter
overflow interrupt generated on CPU 1. Hence IRQ 340 never gets h</pre>

Building Chromebooks out of Netbooks

<pre>I have a question. We are a Google Apps for Education school.
Unfortunately, the contract IT people here before me purchased 300 Acer and
Asus netbooks...(which I would trade for chromebooks in a heartbeat). My
problem is, is there is no money for new hardware (don't ask) and I need to
be able to filter any device I send out with a student (new law in
Colorado). So a possible solution to this problem is to convert my netbooks to
chromebooks using chromium vanilla. I have already tested the chrome
filtering for apps (works great even on non-chromebooks)

So what are the pitfalls here? All I need these netbooks to do is access
the internet, use google docs, etc. I understand the problems with Java
apps...(and that's my plan b is to load windows 7 and chrome and hide IE
through gpedit.

Thoughts, ideas,warnings???

<pre>Hi all, I installed the latest build of chromium OS on my Asus eee pc
1001px HDD. It removed everything from it.
Now, I want to uninstall chromium OS and install Lubuntu. So, I created a
bootable USB device with the Lubuntu installation guide. But when I try to
boot from the USB device nothing happened. At first I though the file is
damaged so I downloaded it again, I also made sure that the Lubuntu img
copying process went successfully because I was able to boot from the USB
device on another computer and the install went perfect there...

Anyways, I am stuck right now.
I can't remove ChromiumOS, and I can't install any other operating system
(Yes I tried to check the boot order. if I try to boot from the USB device
nothing happens. And if I don't then it just brings be back to ChromiumOS)

Please, I am desperate here...I read the other posts saying that "There is
no uninstall process, just install a new OS and it will work", but I can't
seem to even do that.
