ALC272 on Ubuntu 12.04

I got this Lenovo S10-3 netbook and wishes to install Ubuntu 12.04 which

Has anybody use darktable? It seems a nice alternative to Adobe Lightroom.

darktable is an open source photography workflow application and RAW
developer. A virtual lighttable and darkroom for photographers. It

ZFS on Linux: weird behavior / file inaccessible

I'm missing a big (80GB) file in a ZFS volume:

The file doesn't really matter to me.  I need to recover the space.  I already ran "zfs scrub" on the volume.

Help on corrupted filesystem/disk

We have an old FreeBSD (version 6.2) that we using as one of our File
server. This morning something happened that might have corrupted the
filesystem or the disk.

We need someone who is knowledgeable on using FreeBSD that can restore
