<pre>Hello,

I entered in a few tasks yesterday and set them to repeat daily/weekly/etc... After the allotted time for the task it stayed on “now” so I manually changed it to “done”. When I turned it on this morning none of the tasks had flipped to “later” as I feel they should do on their own because I’ve set the task to repeat. I had to manually go into each task and change it to “later” AND change the date on it. Its not that big of a deal with only 20 items, but I feel it will be a pain to do on a daily basis as I add more items to my growing list. Am I doing something wrong, or is that the way it works?

Thanks,

<pre>Dear Chandler team,

Chandler looks like a very promising tool for us to use for getting work done in a software setup project. We are still testing how to best use the software. A small issue we have is, that the title are not fully displayed anywhere on Chandler Desktop. Is there somewhere a setting to enable a hover or a title to have multiple lines?
The tasks come in from test users and the title are taking from text, therefore they are very long. We know there is the description field, but that slows us down to divide everything up in title and body. We would much rather prefer to quickly past tasks into Chandler Desktop.

Best regards
Leo

<pre>Hi,

I recently read the book “Dreaming in Code” by Scott Rosenberg and found the
whole development of Chandler very interesting. As a “hobby” (Delphi)
programmer, I recognised a lot of the problems that faced the Chandler
development team – it’s good to hear that the professionals have some of the
same issues as us amateurs.

As a direct result of reading the book, I realised that Chandler is exactly
what my wife and I need – we’re both busy professionals and keeping track of
our respective schedules (ie., when am I away from home; when does she have
her Zumba classes; etc.) is a nightmare. Finally, we can coordinate across
the various systems, without the excuse of “I thought I had told you” (her
excuse, not mine).

I downloaded and installed Chandler under Windows 7 (Professional, 64-bit).
Works like a dream. A bit “slow” on start-up (the book warned me about
this) and even on an i5 processor with 8 GB RAM and 1 GB graphics RAM it’s
still a lot slower than ACT (which I use for wor</pre>

I uninstalled Chandler from my PC, and then reinstalled it, but
apparently uninstalling leaves the repository untouched. I searched
the Chandler Wiki and got some hints, but nothing definitive. I then
fired up Chandler again and went to "Debug -&gt; Logging -&gt; Log Window" and
found out that the repository is in the "AppData" directory. I hadn't
found it before because AppData is a hidden directory, at least on
Vista. Sigh...

OK, I uninstalled Chandler, removed the "Open Source Application
Foundation" directory from AppData and then reinstalled and subscribed
to my Hub account and did a sync and I'm back up and running.

But i am having some issues -- the biggest one is the following.

How do I show all of the collections on the same calender?

Is this something that I can do or do I need to put each item into a master

does anyone know of an easier way or am I missing the boat?

Any help would be wonderful.

I am an Australian user and I deleted a number of test items that Chandler
has as default when you open your account.

I also deleted the group -- USA HOLIDAY, DATES (?? not sure of exact
wording).

Once I did this - I have now lost my calender that should reside in the
centre panel of the program.

I don't know how to get it back -- I would also like to subscribe to an
Australian feed for school holidays and national days at this site -- and i
would like some assistance about how to do this as well. This is the
website -http://www.vic.gov.au/Victorian-School-Term-Dates.html it has
something called ICALL -- i assume this is how you sync the program?

Many thanks and kind regards
