How to set different nodes have different time

 Hi! I'm a new user of ns3.My problem is described as follows.

I am using ns3 to implement the TPSN (a algorithm to sync time used in WSN ),and 
i need to initiate nodes with different time ,then test the algorithm.But i do 
not know how to set the time.

LTE Ascii trace with printing

I changed the subject. I feel it is more accurate to ask how to do "Ascii"
tracing with the LTE module. if Ascii tracing with printing enabled is not
supported, neither can AnimationInterface read packet metadata.

I doubt that the current LTE supports Ascii tracing at lte netdevices.

I am simulating one scenario for which I have modified the 
"lena-simple-epc.cc".  I need an alternative path from UE to remotehost.  
For this, a P2P connection is made between PGW and UE(0). I have not 
attached UEs to the eNBs, so only path between UE and remotehost is through 
this P2P link.  After configuring the static routing (which seems correct), 
the remotehost is not receiving anything at all. 

1. Is there any limit in no. of interfaces that can be installed on a node? 
As PGW is already using 3 interfaces (7.0.0.1, 10.0.0.6, 1.0.0.1 ), adding 
an extra interface (2.0.0.1) may be creating problem if limit is just 3.

It is very important to me as it is part of my project and I am stuck in 
this for 2 days. I am attaching my file below.

*Sometimes*, when I remove, and later, add a header on the same packet the 
assert isStateOk() fails. 

What does it means? 

Ps: I try always reuse the packet I received from the udp socket.

I was trying to run the simulation in ns-3 in  this file lena-rlc-traces.cc 
and I was trying to change it to Mobility but I got the following errors.

Hello

I receive following error after successful compiling and while running 
simulating wimax-ip-v4 with 12xSS.:

" assert failed. cond="GetState() == PHY_STATE_IDLE",

I think the problem is related to the increase of number of nodes because 
when I run the same scenario with 10xSS it runs perfectly.
Any body know how can I over come to this error?

help regarding NSC using bake configuration

I am trying to use NSC with ns-3.17 using the latest bake configuration and 
have been running into the following issue:

bake.py configure -e ns-allinone-3.17
bake.py download
bake.py build
cd into waf folder
./waf configure (confirmed that NSC was enabled)
cp examples/tcp/tcp-nsc-comparison.cc /scratch/
./waf --run scratch/tcp-nsc-comparison

./waf --run scratch/tcp-nsc-comparison


Is there something I am missing when I am trying to build NSC using bake? I

Hi everyone,


I`ve adapted the lena-simple-epc.cc script to build a topology with only
one eNB and a set of UEs attached to it.

Well, I printed the LOG information for the PfFfMacScheduler. However, when
I checked this LOG the number of RNTIs is different of the number of the
UEs that I attached to the eNB.

When I attached 10 UEs to the eNB I got 16 RNTIs:

unicast to different nodes

I have created 3 nodes and define one of them as source and the two others 
as sink nodes. All three nodes are in the communication range of each 
other. I want to send two different packets from source to sinks. I know 
that the following codes creates a socket from source to one sink. How can 
I extend this code to the case where I have two sink nodes? Thanks.

A couple weeks ago when I just started reading LENA-M5 (VERSION 3-dev) 
tutorial, I just "./waf --run scratch/mylena-simple.cc" without changing 
anything from the code (which is from ~/src/lte/examples/lena-simple.cc) 
and the "lteHelper->EnableTraces"'s results were showing up normally
so after I religiously read the tutorial I'm trying to do some tweak up for 
testing my knowledge
and the problem showed up ...
I was just adding another eNodeB and another UE in that script and give 
different bearer for each UE
it is successfully compiled but I can't get anything from the 
DlPdcpStats.txt nor UlPdcpStats.txt
any vital and basic concept I missed ?

Directional Sensor network with Ns-3

I am very new in ns-3.I have downloaded it recently and  followed the 
tutorial. However , i am bit confused creating an environment of 
directional sensor network. I have the following features in this 
environment-

1. There are directional sensors node which have sectors and one will be 
used as a working sector for sensing and communication
2. There are messages need to be broadcast to other nodes for forming a 
connectivity as well as for cluster formation

I am not sure how to implement the environment with the messages,working 
directions . Please, i need help in this regard.

Hi, at the beginning of May it has been announced the M6 release of Lena 
module but looking to the dev branch of Lena module I don't see any 
refernce  to this version, I would need a confirmation (Baldo, 
Kostantinos...anyone please) that if I download the dev version of Lena I'm 
downloading the M6. Is it right?

 

Is there any link to download the official M6 version and not the dev 
version? 

 

I have seen that the Lena module has been merged with Ns-3 dev in the same 
day when Ns3 3.1 7 has been released so I suppose that the dev version of 
Lena  will start from the Ns3 3.17 officially  released? Is this correct?

 

Last point, which version of Lena Module does integrate  the Ns3 -3.17 
officially released. The M5 or the M6? 

 

Please, clear my mind a bit.
