Can anyone please provide any information regarding some type of fund in Owain's name or some way to send something to Paula? I would like to send something to her. I wanted to be at the service that occurred outside MIRF, but could not make it. 
 
Like the sweet notes he sang that echoed through my soul after hearing him sing, I cannot stop thinking about him day in and day out. I suspect those he has touched with his song and his presence feel much the same.

As I type, Owain Phyfe is in the hospital. As far as I know, test results have yet to come back.

It is time for us fans of Owain Phyfe to be of help. The best source of info that I know of is the "We Love Owain Phyfe" group on Facebook. Could the OPALS web site be updated to help spread the word?

I am an acoustic guitar student, trying some cantigas, e.g. Cantigas de Santa Maria. After see songs like Maid in Bedlan, Quantas Sabedes, Maid from Cullmore, I´ve bee search for info about them.
If possible, anyone in forum could get me some info, such chords, tabs, etc.?

Back in the day, the mid-1970s, my university's bookstore was clearing out all 
the vinyl LPs to make way for CDs.  I was lucky to fine a gem of an album "The 
Art of the Lute" vol. 2 by Walter Gerwig (for $2 US!!!).  My copy was later 
damaged, and after much searching in the late 1990s, found and purchased a 
replacement, pristine, unopened copy via the internet for about $8 US + 
shipping).  Sadly, it has not made it into the CD / MP3 lexicon.

I see from the third url above that it is in public domain... I suppose I should 
convert and post on YouTube?!

Ah, I see at least one copy is on Amazon for $25 with a playlist of the LP! 
Several other sites have copies for sale, and I see that at least on of his LPs 
was reissued as a dititally remastered CD.

Hello Owain, and the NWRB!

I am just a neophyte when it comes to Ren faire, having only attended the local Hammond, LA RenFest a few times, but at each visit, I had the pleasure to hear Owain play and sing.

I attended the last weekend of the fair in 2010, and am very pleased with the CD, "Where Beauty Moves and Wit Delights", a very sweet and enjoyable CD indeed!  I see the (c) date is 1993, so it's been around for a while.  I am glad I was able to purchase it!  It is playing now as I slave away at the keyboard at work... what a breath of fresh air.

I adore New World Renaissance Band; my freshman year college roommate introduced me to them twelve years ago, and I have been a fan ever since (though, sadly, it never really occurred to me to look them up on the internet or that they toured).  Will NWRB - or any of its members - ever be playing in Tennessee or Kentucky?  TN has a great yearly Renaissance Festival out at Castle Gwynn in Triune (http://www.tnrenfest.com/index.htm), but I don't know what KY offers.  Any chance of playing down in the mid-south?
