    <description>Hello,

I am using squirrelmail-1.4.15 on linux (opensuse 11.0) and installed the
shared calendar, calendar_file_backend, and compatibility plungins as
required. I can't create a shared calendar but only personal calendar.

What else is missing?

Thank you for your help.

    <description>Hello,

I have found two possible bugs in avelsieve plug-in:
1) When adding a new spam rule in advanced mode, whitelist data being
entered is totally ignored. The only way for adding data to whitelist is
editing the previously created spam rule. Looks like a silly bug.
2) When X-Spam-Score is negative, the spam rule seems to be always matched
so you get legitimate mail catalogued as spam. This is very nasty... An
example of spam headers being caught as Spam:
  X-Spam-Score: -0.474
  X-Spam-Level:
  X-Spam-Status: No, score=-0.474 tagged_above=-20 required=6.31

Are they known bugs? Solutions?

For problem #2, which is the more important one, I'm thinking about an
extra check / regexp searching for the "-" sign, but perhaps there are
better solutions (another workaround is to configure spamassasin to add
X-Spam-* headers only above certain positive threshold value, so mails will
never contain negative scores; by default, my Amavis config used a 2.0

not to work...

    <description>I'm running into a problem with the Proon plugin. I've untarred Proon and
enabled it using Squirrelmail's conf.pl program. If I log in to Squirrelmail
and then click Options to edit the preferences, and I click on most of the
options pages (e.g. "Personal Information"), nothing happens. The main
Options page just reloads!

Has anyone else experienced this problem with Proon? If I disable the
plugin, I can access my Options again. This seems to be a problem all of our
users suffer.

The only other plugins we have installed are delete_move_next,
squirrelspell, and newmail.

We're running SquirrelMail version 1.4.8-4.0.1.el5 on Red Hat Enterprise
Linux 5 (64 bit), running on managed hosting at Rackspace. We're running PHP
5.1.6 and Apache 2.2.3. Squirrelmail was installed through a Rackspace RPM I
think. We get the same problem in Safari, Firefox, and IE, and we don't see
any errors in any of the Apache logs (or onscreen).

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

    <title>Squirrelspell returning "Misconfigured"</title>
    <link>http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.mail.squirrelmail.plugins/14681</link>
    <description>

(sorry for the repost, but I figure it's easier for everyone with a
subject line - oops)

Currently running squirrelmail 1.4.16 with the default squirrelspell.
New config (something that's never worked, not something that used
to work and has stopped).

Whenever I'm composing a message and I select "Check Spelling", I get
a popup that says:

SquirrelSpell is misconfigured.
I tried to execute 'ispell -a', but it returned:
&lt; at &gt;(#) International Ispell Version 3.2.06 08/01/01

*
*
&amp; spelll 2 9: spell, spells

I have the word "spelll" in the message as a test, so I know that
ispell is running and finding something wrong.

The path to ispell is /usr/bin/ispell. If I add the specific path to
/plugins/squirrelspell/sqpell_config.php

$SQSPELL_APP = array('English' =&gt; '/usr/bin/ispell -a',
          'Spanish' =&gt; 'ispell -d spanish -a');

the behavior doesn't change.

When I switch the user to apache and check the path, /usr/bin is in the path.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Rick

simply a bug in the plug-in.

My passwords are stored in MySQL, using md5crypt. That's the relevant part

and also to the SQ auth.php code in ???

Anyway, my version has it squirrelmail-1.4.16-1.fc9.noarch
using Compatibility Ver 2.0.12, 2008/05/21

Combining both comes with php fatal error
[Fri Oct 31 13:22:34 2008] [error] [client 192.168.7.1] PHP Fatal error:
Cannot redeclare sqauth_save_password() (previously declared in

Now the most strange thing, I looked into my SQ config and found out that I
have this plugins configuration
config.php:
$plugins[0] = 'delete_move_next';
$plugins[1] = 'squirrelspell';
$plugins[2] = 'newmail';

config_local.php:

#array_push($plugins, 'login_redirect');

    <description>
Hello all,

this is my first post to the list after searching and trying for 2 days to get
squirrelspell working in a proper way.

Strange things first:
The spellcheck is partly working: spell check is done but no Options in the Options
page. Second language is not shown with the Spell Check button or in any other way
to switch between languages.

Versions: win32, Sq 1.4.16, Aspell 0.50.3.3, php 4.4.9, Squirrelspell of the
distribution
It is ONLY working whith php.ini settings:
safe_mode = on , which I would like to set to "off"
disable_functions: proc_open has to be removed.

The following is set in sqspell_config.php

$SQSPELL_APP = array('English' =&gt; 'd:\aspell\bin\aspell.exe -a',
                     'German' =&gt; 'd:\aspell\bin\aspell.exe -d German -a');

Only the English spell check is available.

Questions:
What is set wrong in the above command ?
Why is SqSpell missing in the options page ?
How can I run it with safe_mode = off ?

I hope this is not to much asked. Any help would be very appreciated as</description>

    <title>patch submit to have postfixadmin plugin support min password length.</title>

I noticed that the postfixadmin plugin didn't support a min password
length. So my admins were forced under postfixadmin to have a long
enough password, but my users could change it to whatever they wanted.

I don't know the right process for submitting a patch/improvement.

I made the following change:

// RGS fixing to do min length
     $min_length = $CONF['min_password_length'];
     if (empty ($fPassword) or ($fPassword != $fPassword2) or
($min_length &gt; 0 &amp;&amp; strlen($fPassword) &lt; $min_length))
     {
         $error = 1;
         bindtextdomain('postfixadmin', SM_PATH .
'plugins/postfixadmin/locale');
         textdomain('postfixadmin');
         if (empty ($fPassword)) {
                 $pPassword_password_text .= _("The passwords that
you supplied are empty! ");
         }
         if (($fPassword != $fPassword2)) {
                         $pPassword_password_text .= _("The passwords
that you supplied don't match! ");
         }

The login_alias plugin appears to be erasing my preferences. With it
enabled, if I change my default name/From values, all of my
preferences look like they are deleted.

If I used the Advanced option to change those values, nothing gets
deleted. If I disable the login_alias plugin, changing those values
works correctly. I'm pretty sure it's a mysql query problem.

The mysql (from /var/log/mysql) when it fails/deletes returns:
