Hi All,
Has anyone approached the owner of fedoramagazine.com about selling (or
optimally donating) the domain to the Fedora project? I can't count how
many times I have automatically either ctrl + enter'd or automatically
added the .com while trying to hit the .org site.

I worry that the empty wordpress shell installed on the .com will confuse
some of our users.

Hi List,
Sorry I missed the meeting today, as I wanted to talk about the site.
 Where do we stand with regards to the theme. Last thing that I saw was a
mockup that had been drawn up.

I am willing to try and assist as I have some experience with CSS and a
fair bit of WP experience. I am pretty sure that I am not alone in hoping
to get a big push to have this ready for the launch of F19 (and by beta
preferably).

Thoughts on this?

Talking Points - call for participation / feedback / "should we dothis, or can it permanently"

Hello marketing pals,

The talking points have been on the schedule since, well, a long time
ago, and we haven't really done them for several releases now. These
were originally, AFAIK, designed as a point of reference for
Ambassadors for release highlights to discuss - basically paring down
the Feature List into some key enhancements, and making them
human-readable and to-the-point.

Over time, I think they may have been useful as (a) a starting point
for choosing features to write stories (feature profiles) about for an
upcoming release; I think they could also serve as a useful point of
reference for the press, or perhaps as a starting point for crafting a
list of feature information for the press, without pointing the press
folks directly to the feature list immediately.

Anyway: Despite my thoughts that I'm unsure of the usefulness of them
*in their current form* (I have no idea if, when they were created in
past releases, if Ambassadors really ever used them) - I think that
some of the process behind t

release announcements, talking points, release notes, and how wegroup features into audiences or stories

(Sorry for evil double-posting :D)

I was taking a look at the oft-neglected Talking Points, which were
originally designed as a handy list of "new shiny" for each release
that could be handed off to Ambassadors as a quick reference list of
features to talk about, and have also at times served as a starting
point for choosing features to be highlighted in release videos,
interview stories / articles, blog posts, etc. It's entirely possible
that they have also been a reference point for writing release
announcements as well.  Talking points tend to be very focused on
*totally new* things, and not generally on incremental improvements.

And so I figured I'd take a crack at it again - see

mail to mktg list is still yet-to-be-written (the content of this mail

at *Jamia Millia Islamia College of Enginnering* [1], Delhi , India on

The participants were mostly Btech students .

They were familiar with basic programming language practices mostly with
C/C++ and quite a few of them had a prior experiencing of using Linux.

Mabuhay Everyone!!! I am Eleazer Caramancion from the Philippines. Y'all
can call me "Amatz" for short. I was very interested in learning more about
Linux and thought of joining in this amazing community. I am a system
administrator supervisor but find my job alil dull with the routine stuff
we do everyday. I am actually taking Linux class on my dayoffs and find it
very liberating and exciting.

I am grasping on how things work in your comminuty thats why i kept on
visiting the fedora site last  month every so often. I joined the Fedora
Marketing because I know its another skill of mine I wanted to explore and
I know  I can deliver. I am into photography but just an amateur and still
learning techniques. Some of my friends see my work as amazing photos. I
like engaging myself to different projects and learning new stuff. I also

I haven't spearheaded a marketing project before, but my professional background is varied and I've been involved in "outreach campaigns" with a couple US/Canadian based companies.  Though my professional marketing experience is limited, from the outside looking in, I feel like I may have some talents to bring to the table.  
 
It sounds cliché, but I really do consider myself fairly confident, outgoing and very easy to talk to.
