"GNOME 3.2, which was Fedora 16’s desktop, was dreadful. You don’t

"That was then. This is now. Fedora 17, with the ungainly name Beefy

late beta and it’s much better than it was."

    <description>&lt;pre&gt;Hi

Serious question; Should the Fedora logo be changed?

http://distrowatch.com/weekly.php?issue=20120507#news

'
The Fedora website provided fairly positive results. Everyone was able
to find an appropriate download link for the Fedora ISOs. Likewise,
people were able to find the documentation to walk them through an
installation without too much trouble. What I found a bit amusing was
that almost a third of the participants thought Fedora was some sort of
Facebook plugin or application instead of a full operating system, due
to the project's logo. This is one of those things people inside the
Linux community would probably never consider, but there's a bit of a
confusion over the brand (apparently) where outsiders are concerned."

Fedora crew christened their next Linux desktop, that was certainly the
plan.

"On the menu was 'over and under the bun improvements that show off the

"While Fedora 17 is certainly beefy, what's been delivered with this
first and only beta is not particularly miraculous.

"Among the more noticeable changes is GNOME 3.4, the latest version of
the GNOME 3 desktop. While the Fedora DVD still ships with a variety of
desktops, the live CD defaults to GNOME and for some time now Fedora has
served as a showcase for the development of GNOME 3."

"Coming up with the Fedora codenames via contributor suggestions has

possible codenames each cycle. With Fedora 17 it's been arguably the
oddest codename with the "Beefy Miracle" title; heck, even Ubuntu
