MvM Servers, are they still an issue?

<pre>G’evening once again.

Is anyone else still have issues with getting a MvM server setup and running with the new steampipe system? Perhaps it’s still a known issue that MvM is still have some startup problems?

I have tried everything I can think of and my MvM server just will not start, it cycles into an endless loop of restarts/attempts to start. No server logs are created as the server never actually starts. I can start the server on any other map, in any other game mode...but if I even switch to an MvM map the server crashes, or just never changes.

This is a barebones server with absolutely NO additional plugins, NO sourcemod or even metamod. I have checked the version of TF2 and made sure it was fully up to date, I have even created a brand new server from scratch but with no luck.

Are there still currently issues with getting MvM server up and running or am I just forgetting some required cvar or settings that I absolutely need, to get it working?

Thanks ahead of time folks!</pre>

During the day we have some of our what we call "seeders" hop on our

1. Please re-add Steam Ratings to the page.

It was nice being able to see a compiled time played on Steam over the past
two weeks. I also used this feature to make sure the admins in my community
stayed active (I required them to keep a 10 Steam Rating).

2. If you're going to sort the top 6 friends on a persons profile by their
profile level, could you please add a filter so offline people don't get a
spot.

I used to use my friends profiles to find a game to go into. If they the
server they were in was full I would join one of their friends who was also
in-game. Now this is limited, as it will always show offline people on this
list as long as they have a high level.

3. It would be nice if you either re-added the Online/Offline/In-Game text
a player profile or at least make the boarder around a persons profile
thicker.

When I'm trading I look at many profiles quickly. With this new layout it's
harder to tell the status of a</pre>

 - Fixed some spots where cover was difficult to lock onto
 - Fixed firefight teamkills giving wrong number of points
 - Fixed rising storm stats being disabled for some players in the beta
 - Fixed death sounds when a player leaves the server
 - Fixed the M12 shotgun firing slower when using manual bolting

<pre>I'm sure this is well known but could easily be fixed with a simple
temporary solution.

MVM has at times glitched out on waves and stops sending out main bots and
instead continuously pumps out support and sentry busters. Tanks won't
appear, bomb goes untouched, and sometimes your own sentry will shoot at
you.

Temp solution? I see there's a vote option to restart the entire game, why
not put a vote to restart the round? This problem has been happening quite
frequently these past few months, and I don't expect Valve to tinker away
trying to figure out what's causing it, but a simple Restart Round vote is
a good band-aid fix that shouldn't cause much trouble implementing.

Here are two .dem files showing two different game breaking glitches. One
doesn't spawn bots, and the other has a bot magically outside the map demo
charging over and over.

means that anyone that pre-orders the game can play in the beta instantly
(well instantly after they download the beta client). In preparation for
this we have just released the server files for the beta. You can grab them

What is Rising Storm?

First off here is a press kit and trailer for the game. The press kit
includes info on the game, logos, key art, etc.

Having problems updating my servers. I've ran the validate command multiple times now, and SteamCMD keeps saying it's up to date. After starting up the server, it says it's out of date. The 'version' command shows the server as being at 1734532 (newest is 1756932 according to the UpToDateCheck WebAPI script).

The script I'm using to validate:
&lt; at &gt;ShutdownOnFailedCommand 1
&lt; at &gt;NoPromptForPassword 1
login anonymous
force_install_dir /home/source/steamcmd/tf2
app_update 232250 validate
quit

And the output of the script (trimmed out the "app info out of sync" messages and other garbage):

and complete list of server cvars, complete with a small description of
each one? The game I would mostly be referring to is TF2 but I figured the
list is most likely nearly universal.

There used to be a website with a complete list but the information happens
to be out of date by a few years and I know some cvars have come and gone.
I know some have been completely stripped and aren't used anymore, etc.

I know you can get information from the console but figured Fletcher or
other staff might have a text document, spreadsheet, something...with this
information on hand. Or maybe one of you server operators might have
created a list yourself. Any luck?
