<description>I'm getting an error when using the "Turbo" function with the latest

"Local storage status: Error: Download of
'http://just-thinkin.net/wp-admin/images/tail.gif' failed, status code 404."

"Tail.gif" does not exist in build 9983 nor does it exist in the latest
trunk build either (9992). However, build 9948 *does* include "tail.gif"
which I uploaded to my install. Once that was done, Gears downloaded all
the files (all 261 of them) with no problem. Is there a manifest/index
type file that tells Gears what it should be downloading that perhaps
wasn't updated as to what files have and have not been removed?

I've found a workaround her:
http://vanonet.com/2008/09/servage-wordpress-plugin-autoupgrade-problem/

By changing the below string in wp-admin/include/file.php

    if ( getmyuid() == fileowner($temp_file) )

to

    if ( posix_getuid() == fileowner($temp_file) )

I'm not aware of the exact consequences, if any, but it solved the problem
in both 2.6.5 and 2.7-almost-rc-9965

If the above string could be changed permanently it would be of great help
to users with the same problem.

    <description>Hi,

So I am helping my sister develop a new theme for her blog. She wants a
featured area so I have got her to use a new instance of WP_Query(); but she
also want's to show what tags are attached to the featured posts. For some
reason though using when using &lt;?php the_tags('Tags:', ', ') ?&gt; nothing is
outputted. There are tags attached to the post &amp; it happens on my blog too.

Sooooo I was wonding if anyone could shed some light on why the_tags() isn't
working inside a WP_Query(); loop. I'm not sure if it's a new thing which is
why I'm posting it in this list.

Thanks.

    <description>Hi all testers.

I've some problems with the latest beta of wp 2.7, I've tried it on the
official wp2.7b3 download and the latest nightly build, as someone maybe had
this issue before. My problem is when I'm trying to save a page where I've
used æ, ø or å in the content of the page. It simply breaks at that point
when I'm using it the first time. So "Her vil jeg løbende opdatere dig med
de seneste nyheder" becomes "Her vil jeg l" and I can't save more. I've this
issue when using Visual and HTML editing mode. I've this issue in Firefox 3
and Opera 9.6 on Fedora Core 10.

Firefox 3 is rendering correctly

Pages are caching properly internally (I checked via FTP and my Admin's

I did the classic steps by disabling the plugins and enable them one by one
with check with every plugin but no succes to get that work fine.

I dunno if it's caused by the 2.6.5 upgrade or other thing.

The blog is hosted on mediatemple so I think it's not a hoster problem.

Kind regards,

Just my personal opinion - so feel free to ignore me (and no offence
