What password is required when using the editFormaction?

Hi all,

I am trying to enable the autosave add-in. I have done all the steps. I am
stuck on the last bit. When I go to my site below,
http://10.0.0.3/custardWiki/pmwiki.php?n=Site.EditForm?action=edit

I am asked for a password. I have tried the admin, edit and attribute
passwords with no success. The edit password works for sure but I cannot
test the admin and attribute passwords since I do not know how to do so.

Hello !!

I have a group where I use a template (in GroupHeader) for showing
ptv-data from other pages.
Somewhere, I want to show the last modified time (extracting page variable).

At first, in template page, I used : {(ftime fmt="%F" {*$LastModified})}
but, strange for me, it does not work all time : in some cases, it
just prints out 1970–01–01 ; in other cases it shows the expected
date.

Then, I test {*$LastModified} : it works everytime (though it does not
give the same formatting).
Where I used to have wrong 1970–01–01 I can see 20/05/2012 18:11

Does anyone know whats wrong with first case : {(ftime fmt="%F"
{*$LastModified})} ?

edit passwd?

I have this in my config.php:

$DefaultPasswords['admin'] = crypt('xxxxx');
$DefaultPasswords['edit'] = crypt('yyyy');

I can edit a given page with the admlin passwd, but not with the edit pass

what is wrong?

(I could solve the problem changing the passwd online for this page, 
but need to understand

Keeping links while moving files between differentPmWiki sites

I am moving a subset of a Wiki (pmwiki) from one site to another. Both sites are on the same server (assume they're called Wiki1 and Wiki2).
The problem is that some of the pages that I am moving from Wiki1 to Wiki2 refer to pages which should remain on Wiki1.
Is there a method to tell PmWiki (the Wiki2 installation) that it should also look in Wiki1 if the file is not found in Wiki2?

I would like to use flowplayer (http://flowplayer.org/) wich seems to 
be the best flash player and able to read nearly any video format.

I already installed long time ago the pmwiki cookbook:

I have the base name (i.e. Main/Page) in a variable called $?originpg and want to do check on the status of some PTVs on that page. Unfortunately it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong here?

Here is my problem. #1 and #2 are for further background only. I am basically trying to use PVs and PTVs of the newest page in a certain group when visiting another page in another group within a script referenced by the active skin’s .tmpl file by using a pagelist.

1) I have a simple custom skin which loads a script into a div with <!--file:$SkinDir/somescript.php-->

2) the somescript.php basically does this:

Testing for an empty page text variable

I have a page text variable that spans more than one line:

Is there a way to test whether or not MyPTV is empty?

This doesn't work, because the newline breaks the markup:

     (:if !equal "{{$FullName}$:MyPTV}" "":)

I tried writing a custom markup expression to give me the length of MyPTV, but the function didn't work:

     # a custom markup expression that returns the length of the page text variable, for example: {(ptvlen "{$FullName}" "$:MyPTV")} 
     $MarkupExpr['ptvlen'] = 'PTVlen($args[0],$args[1])';
     function PTVlen ($page, $ptv) {
         $var=PageTextVar($page,'$:ptv');

Guys,
I'm attempting to improve my wiki's security. (Yes, I know there are some security measures, like limit on maximum size of file uploads, etc... that are already there.) 
And, unfortunately, the Cookbook/SecureAttachments suggestions aren't appropriate.
Now I have an excellent AVG antivirus program. Is there a way I could configure my wiki so that my AVG antivirus program could scan any "attach file" uploads and anything else directed at my wiki?

Can't get PmWiki: SiteAnalyzer to work

Guys,
I'm attempting to secure my site. According to the PmWiki instructions the first thing to do is site analysis. 
After Downloading the analyze.php script and placing it in my cookbook/ directory. and inserting in the config file the

This version provides a workaround for installations with broken iconv() 
function, while slightly optimizing the recode() function. This should fix the 
"Unable to retrieve edit form" problem appearing in some wikis running 2.2.36. 

Dots in [[#sections.1.2]] are now better supported, PageVariables are expanded 
in PageList template defaults, and the documentation was updated.

Hello all,

I am noticing a change in performance of pmwiki in the following case, and
wonder if this is a bug or a feature.

Background: in the past, I created pages in one group then moved them
manually to another group (using the cp command in wiki.d). When I
performed this, the page disappeared from a listing of recent pages on the
original group, and appeared in search listing in the new group.

The code I use to display the pages in a group is (shown here for the group
Misc):

(:pagelist group=Misc -Template list=normal count=10 order=-ctime:)

Recently, I performed the same tasks mentioned above - I created a page
called http://www.words2u.net/pmwiki/?n=PointsofInterest.BocaDelDrago, then
went into wiki.d and ran mv PointsofInterest.BocaDelDrago Misc.BocaDelDrago

However, when I went to check the success of the process, I noticed the
following:

1. http://www.words2u.net/pmwiki/?n=Misc.HomePage does NOT list a page
called Misc.BocasDelDrago, even though the file exists as can be seen with

Title and alt tags for images

Dear members of the PmWiki mailing list,

I have a (probably stupid) question concerning the "title" and "alt" tags
of images: is it possible to define them separately using the current
PmWiki markup ?

To the best of my knowledge, the current syntax works like this:

Attach:image.jpg"Alt text" | Caption

where "Alt text" is erroneously used for both the "title" and "alt"
attributes of the image. This is especially jarring if one wants to use
cookbook recipes such as Galleria, which uses both the "title" and "alt"
attributes to create an image gallery.

The issue has already been mentionned here:

The following syntax was then proposed:

Attach:image.jpg"Alt text" | Caption | Title text

However, although the issue is considered " Closed - added for 2.2.14",
this syntax doesn't seem to work in the current version of PmWiki.

attributes of an image separately? If there isn't, is there a simple way

"Fatal Memory Error" on Save

Last night, contributors to my wiki began getting this error message after 
clicking Save when editing a page:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 103809024 bytes exhausted (tried to 
allocate 96994171 bytes) in 
/nfs/c10/h01/mnt/141983/domains/sghistory.com/html/scripts/pagelist.php on 
line 422

I checked and got the same error. The edits are going through, but only 
after a delay and that error message.

I tried overwriting pagelist.php with a fresh copy, but that didn't help. 
Any ideas?
