The good news is that we have an equivalent list for Apache OpenOffice
and you are welcome to subscribe to that list.

To join the new list, send an email to

email account where you want to receive the list messages.

This will generate a confirmation email which will be sent to your

To send posts to the new list, you will mail them to the following

I execute the following basic macro on a text document:

xFormula = ThisComponent.createInstance("com.sun.star.text.TextEmbeddedObject")

xFormula.setPropertyValue("CLSID", "078B7ABA-54FC-457F-8551-6147e776a997")
xFormula.setPropertyValue("AnchorType", 1)

xTextViewCursor = ThisComponent.getCurrentController().getViewCursor()
xDocumentText = xTextViewCursor.getText()
xModelCursor = xDocumentText.createTextCursorByRange(xTextViewCursor.getEnd())

xDocumentText.insertTextContent(xModelCursor, xFormula, true)

This successfully inserts an empty smath formula in the document.

Now I do this:

1. Delete the formula
2. Undo the deletion
3. Copy the formula
4. Paste the formula

and I get a little box saying "Object1" in red type, but not formula!!!

What am I doing wrong? Needless to say, this behaviour does not occur
when I create the formula through the UI. And I thought I was following
the devguide with my macro code.

Thanks for any ideas!

I would like to try and change those functions in order to run them in
parallel processes using MPI or OpenMP.
Where can i get the source code for OpenOffice and how do i find the add

If you know any similar attempts to parallelize those or another OpenOffice

help you can offer.

Thank you,

How to use Thread Affinity Bridge of URE(oo2.3)

<pre>We are trying to use the Thread Affine Bridge functionality provided by the
URE(OO2.3). We went through some of the OO wiki links like

http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Uno/Spec/Thread_Affinity_Bridge

However, we are not sure how to use Thread_Affinity_Bridge correctly. Going
through some links it seems we need to change the environment mapping to
"uno::affine" in order to use Thread Affinity( see
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Uno/Spec/Purpose_Environment)

But we are not sure how exactly to use this.
Please let us know the steps we need to perform in order to enable the
thread affine environment in URE(OO2.3)

Thanks,

any other recommended tool for obtaining code coverage.

<pre>Please read this note in its entirety. It contains important
information related to this mailing list, its migration to the Apache
Software Foundation, and the steps you must take to ensure continuous
access to the list.

Background

As you may have heard, Oracle contributed the OpenOffice.org (OOo)
code to Apache in June. All new projects at Apache start in the
"Incubator", a special part of Apache where new projects ("Podlings")
and their communities are given special attention by Apache "mentors"
as they learn about Apache, ensure that the source code meets Apache's
license requirements, and work toward their initial Apache release.

In parallel with the coding efforts needed before we can publish
Apache OpenOffice.org 3.4.0, the Apache OpenOffice.org community,
working with the Apache Infrastructure team, is migrating the many
legacy OOo websites and other online services formerly hosted by
Sun/Oracle onto Apache servers. This has been a huge effort and we are
showing good progress in many areas.

However, when I type, say, hg clone https://code.google.com/p/core-plot/, it works.

enable(disable) Grpahical components without having to destroy or construct
them each change of state?. I'm currently working in the translation of an
OpenOffice extension called Oo2gdocs, changing the java Swing GUI to the UNO

Bericht:

http://blogs.fsfe.org/stehmann/?p=102

Dieses Jahr befassen sich zwei Themen mit OpenOffice.org.

Alexander Bahlo von CAcert wird über das "Signieren von Dokumenten in
OpenOffice.org/LibreOffice" sprechen. Und ich werde etwas über
"Canzeley", ein Kanzleiprogramm für Rechtsanwaltskanzleien, erzählen,
welches auf OpenOffice.org und MySQL basiert.

Gruß
Michael
