I'm currently trying to import an exported copy of my Book Collection (all

When I tried to import the exported CSV file it choked.

I noticed then that nothing is quoted.

For example, This is one title/etc. for the book:

Guess what happens ? The title gets split on the , in the Series/# part.

Can we add " around all text fields in the DB ?

This would change the output line from :

First of all one thank you for your development j ' has it to try others
but that this is really practical and intuitive

I shall like I can manage in the same file or base(basis) (I already make
him(it) at present between book(pound) and BD) books(pounds) and movies,
but for the search engine for example about rider does not allow to do it.
There is certainly a selection criterion? Upstream....
Can use me?
Thank you

The fact of being able to choose its fields to add to modify them it is
really great thank you again

there also the possibility in putting the application in network?

However, the available sources are not useful for my comics.
I found the follwing site
http://www.comicvine.com/
that has a good database of comics from different countries.
They provide a set of APIs to access the database (http request with xml
response). The documentation can be found at http://api.comicvine.com/
Is it possible to integrate it into tellico?
Cheers.

<description>&lt;pre&gt;Hi, I managed to compile (quite straightforwardly) Tellico under windows
by using mingw and the kde-windows platform. Just a couple of optional
modules are not available. Almost all is working fine. Tellico runs,
create a new collection, import books from online sources, save it to file.
However, if I close the program, reopen it, reload a previosly saved
collection and modify it, tellico is not able to save the file to disk.
If I use the save as option by using a different filename, the file is
correctly saved.
Any hint on where the problem could be?
Thanks!

Sadly, I'm still getting the same error messages (otherwise seems to work fine).

One example is /Portraits: Illustrating Grangers Biographical History of

(it's stunning, by the way, one portrait per page from plates with
hand-written notes and biographies and index in a separate volume).

Another might be /New French to Portuguese Dictionary/ that was part of
George Washington's library at Mt. Vernon (scorched from a fire that
occurred there). Published around 1780.

Not a whole lot of either of those floating around, eh?

    <description>&lt;pre&gt;Hello,

Sometimes when importing CDs from FreeDB, when there are multiple discs in
the set, tellico import *all* tracks of all CDs in each CD, instead of
just taking the ones related to the current CD.

I just made again an import with the Giulio Cesare of Minkowski (3 CDs)
and got 82 tracks with text, and only the first one with duration.

Looking at it, it seems yjay yellico uses the Musicbrain entry, and not
the FreeDB one (which doesn't contain the same text BTW) to fill the
content.

Should I disable MusicBrain to avoid that ? Is it an expected behaviour
?

TIA for your advises,
Bruno.

I use to use since a long time, first in order to manage my book collection

I built a personnal database month ago.
Since then I upgrade my Ubuntu and has to reinstall Tellico. I realize that
I haven't save in the right way my database... I have only a xml file,
forget to take the .tc one :-(
And I didn' succeed to import this xml file in Tellico :-(

Is there a way to do it ? I made research on internet and read the user
book, but I only saw that it's possible to convert a xml file to a xsl...
but what is the process ?

Thanks a lot
