When I try to sync two directories in which there is a directory called foo

But some docbooks still have the guilabel "Preserve Attributes":

Krusader Docbook menu-commands

Hi,

the dokbook menu-command says:

If checked, show the preview of the file at the focus
</quote>

But what I see in master compiled from sources:

Checked:
Icons with preview of file content for all files in the panel, not only for the 
file with the focus.

Not checked: 
Icons with mime type of files/folders for each item in the panel

Two issues with this sentence:
&MMB; -> no new tab is opened, but the tab is closed
Shortcut is Ctrl+Alt+N in the Gui, not Alt+Ctrl+N

locate.docbook reads:
Double-click on an item: steps to its directory, makes the item visible and 
closes the locate dialog.

Apparently a single click with the left mouse button works as well?

Archive handling icons for Krusader

Hi guys!

I'm unhappy with the current icons used for the "Pack" and "Unpack" actions in 
the default Oxygen style/environment.

Do you agree to go for new icons? As soon as these are provided I would 
integrate them in Krusader.

Hi everybody,

as you might have noticed, I have disabled the krarc ioslave 
(https://projects.kde.org/projects/extragear/utils/krusader/repository/revisions/dc1b210948c9e92023ceca36383500b635677636).
Reason: there is at least one bug (http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=280939 
and probably http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=290376) involving data loss.

Having looked over the krarc source, It is my opinion that doing a rewrite 
from scratch would be a better spend effort than finding bugs in the current 
implementation. Unfortunately I currently don't have time for either.

We now have the following dilemma:
I would like to release 2.4 in the not to far future - obviously we can't 
release with a buggy krarc.
If we release 2.4 with krarc disabled, people will surely be unhappy and 
probably continue to use 2.0.0.

If you have any suggestions what to do, please let me know.

Happy new year everyone!

I've been a bad webmaster the last few years.

Our website is horribly outdated. It shows its age in each and every aspect. 
Not only design and content wise, doing a release is also a real pain. 
Whenever i visit the website, deleting spam at the forums, i leave it with a 
bad feeling.

So i've build a new website (again). I know, i've announced it several times. 
The first version i've build with Django was too heavy and never got finished. 
This time i kept it simple, left several old perceptions behind, basically 
starting from scratch. I focussed on a simple design with only a few subpages.

The move to extragear helped alot to keep it simple. And the fact that 
nowadays Krusader can easily be installed an any important distribution 
(thanks to Frank's aggressive marketing ;)). So there is no bloated download 
section, just the recent source and some instructions how to install it as 
well as a section how to get involved. The project activity is aggregated from 
projects.kde.o

Unselect files after copy/move is not working with queue

Functionality "Unselect files after copy/move" is not working when
user sends
the operation to the queue.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
select a file/directory, press F5 (copy), press F2 (to the queue).

Actual Results:
The file/directory remain selected forever.

Expected Results:
The file/directory should unselect after pressing F2 (to the queue
button).

Documentation and other issues for Krusader

Hi Krusader devels,

The documentation for Krusader appears twice in khelcenters navigation tree, 
as "Krusader" and "Krusader - root-mode". The second entry is superflous, 
attached patch of krusader_root-mode.desktop does fix it.

"Krusader\nTwin-Panel File Manager for KDE" is untranslated on the about page, 
attached a patch to fix this.

Help button on the first dialog "Search results / Searching for tools" triggers 
no action, added one in the third patch (better than a non functional button).

Fourth patch with some string changes due to renaming in Systemsettings.

Category/Title/Tooltip/Description of user action are untranslated in 
Konfigurator and in menu Useractions due to missing extraction from 
useraction_examples.xml, no patch.

Documentation has no <!-- TRANS:CREDIT_FOR_TRANSLATORS -->, patch with some 
more changes for master attached.

new release candidate / documentation

Hi everybody,

after lots of bugfixes and features added, I think it's time for a new release 
candidate.
I would also like to announce a string freeze.
Before that, the documentation still needs some updating.
The handbook reports revision 2.1.0-beta1, so it would be nice if somebody 
could have a look at the changelog and make sure that all added/changed 
features since then are reflected in the documentation.

rename bug?

Hi,
I notice that during rename operation I can't jump to another window
without auto-canceling rename operation. It was working just right in
previous versions of Krusader.
I have 2.3.0-beta1 "New Horizons" installed under Debian.

Can anyone confirm that this bug still exists in current SVN?
