I have to check pics pairwise quite often- it is important to find "similar"
pics independant from very file format or even when slightly different sections
occur.

Background is scientific demand which analyses differences.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I guess, this is a new request.
2. maybe relatet to fuzzy search or face recognition techniques.
3. feature could be part of a plugin.

Pressing F5 inside an album view reloads the album and selects the topmost
photo of the album. While this looks correct at first glance it is totally
annoying. Normally, there is no reason to reload an album at all. I do it only
when I suspect that new image that should be there are not showing up. Then
most of the time I have scrolled to the last image in the album. Pressing F5
jumps back to the top, which is annoying.

It is especially annoying when you are previewing an image and p</pre>

When using "extended search", one has to select specific folders.

Whereas subfolders are selected too, when selecting folders at other places, in
"extended search" this option does not work, unfortutately.

Therefore, one is forced to select each foider seperateley.

With 2614 subfolders this is no option.

point.

Bug#673161: Starting mysqld in a chroot

<pre>Hi,

I was mistaken in my previous message. Generating a decent /etc/mtab with the line

grep "${CHROOT_PATH}" /etc/mtab | sed -e "s:${CHROOT_PATH}/\?:/:" &gt;"${CHROOT_PATH}/etc/mtab"

in /etc/schroot/setup.d/99mini-buildd helped get rid of warnings from df,
but mysqld was trying to start without it as well.

Mysqld tries to bind to a port at start-up, and fails when another mysqld outside the chroot is already
bound to that port. When mysqld is not running in the host machine, it starts in a chroot just fine.
It should also work when mysqld in the host is listening on a non-standard port.

Regards,
Arnold

<pre>Hi,

Being interested in digikam 2.6.0, I have tried building it for Wheezy with my own mini-buildd.
I have discovered that while mysql-server-5.1 is still available in Wheezy, it cannot be set up
in a schroot environment.
The post installation script of mysql-server-5.1 invokes the init script to start mysqld.
The init script of mysql-server users df to check for a nearly full file system before starting,
but df fails in a schroot environment, so nothing is started and apt-get reports an error
with mysql-server-5.1.

I think the schroot package is to blame here, though it may be argued that the bug should be
reassigned to some other part of the build system, coreutils (df) or mysql-server-5.1 instead.

Regards,
Arnold

Hi!

Your package failed to build on the buildds as it depends on
mysql-server-5.1 for building which is no longer available.
