So if a given gps track has 1000 trackpoints you specify min=3000 you get two more trackpoints between each existing ones. I downloaded garmin gps tracks to Google Earth, and then saved it as kml. The file is about 50K, and has many trackpoints, which come up fine in Google Earth. But when I use GPSBabel (1.4.3 on Windows Vista) to convert to gpx, the resulting file is only 357 bytes, clearly missing all trackpoints, even though it reports, "Translation successful". I tried playing with various options, but always with the same result. I also tried running from a command prompt, using only defaults, and that did the same thing.
