I've got the problem with assign resources in Planner.
I've got a task with fixed duration. I need to assign multiple resources with different number of units. However, this is impossible and Planner assign the same number of units to the checked resources.
Is there is some way how can I change this number?
Thanks

<pre>Hello,

I'm running planner (GNOME planner 0.14.4) and I'd like to include the
Gantt chart as a figure in a LaTeX document.

My problem is that eventhough the number of tasks is quite small, the
pdf output is a full A4 page and for page limitatino reasons I can't afford
to give up a full page for the figure. I have tried playing with custom
page sizes but this seems to scale things proportionally, unless I am
using it wrongly. Is there any way of printing a small-ish no. of tasks
in a "fit to size" window?

Otherwise, thanks for a very nice program.

congratulations for this amazing piece of software, the only suggestion

the possibility of see as a column in gantt mode the predecesores wbs of

This can be very usefull in case of scheduling works with many chained
wbs or make change of order to improve the final work
example, scheduling a work to go see that a wbs soon becomes as critical
and not dependent on those above, then move this one to start earlier,
but in doing so I have to start reviewing all units that changed places
and it would be much easier if these dependencies appear as a column.
thanks.

I have only one problem: printing preview is not available. When I select

I tried to open the file with other images viewer, with the same result.

What can I do?

Thanks in advance

<pre>Hi,

I try to define my current project with Planner.
The project has different tasks, which have specific
lengths. But the resource (me) can only work on some
days of the week (Thuesday, Thursday, Friday) on the
project. What I need is a plan, whether or not I'm out
of the plan. The first task needs four days, but if I
start on 24th of October it must not be done on 27.
of October (because I work on it on 25., 27., 28.
and 31. of October only). So the task ends in time
on 31. of October.

How can I configure that without manually re-calculated
task times?

Thanks a lot

<pre>Hi guys,

something that I really would like to have is to see two more columns in
the "Tasks" view : Predecessors and Successors. The gantt chart becomes
useless when trying to find dependencies in a project with more than 100
tasks.

And it would also be nice to have another column containing the "Notes"
that you can add when you edit a task.
If it's easier to export everything in a csv format at first, that could
also do the trick.

<pre>Hi,

trying to connect planner to a postgresql database.

Got postgresql setup and running with schema for planner loaded with
database, tables etc.

but when I open planner on my desktop and try to open or save to a database,
the menu item :- File/Import/From Database does not exist.

The only item under File/Import/ is

File/Import/ms project XML.

I am running planner 0.14.4

on windows 7 64 bit and on a windows XP 32 bit machine

The postgre database is also running on the same winXP machine as above

I believe I have all the correct settings in postgresql, everything else
seems to be working fine, there is just no menu item anywhere that I can
find for opening or saving to or from database.

Is this because I'm using a windows edition of planner.

NB Carlson
