"*Access to the user tracker item*:

You can see the user tracker of another user , if the permissions are ok

[Tiki-devel] another regression Tiki9 ?

<pre>Hi - just upgraded a couple of sites from 9alpha to 9beta and the good news
is that everything went very smoothly ! I've also upgraded another 6.x site
to 9beta and that went pretty good as well.

However I've just spotted an oddity with File Galleries when the Gallery
tree hierarchy is more than 3 rows deep.

When the File Galleries are first displayed using tiki-list_file_gallery.php
the full tree can be displayed by opening/closing the layers in the normal
way.

But when I click on a lower down Gallery (I'm using sefurl) - so this url is
just something like /file15 - what is happening is that only the row above
the selected row is shown in the tree and there is no way to go back up the
tree without going back to the main menu and using
tiki-list_file_gallery.php

I can't think why this would be a peculiarity of my site - and my other Tiki
9 sites do not exhibit the problem as their File Gallery hierarchies are not
deep enough.

Can anyone else see this?

cheers

Shouldn't we standardise them all? Can there be any reason for this?

The text highlighter is really neat... as long as you use left-to-right.
In a right-to-left it is impossible to use it.
What you see is not what it is. :)
The cursor position is wrong and what you select is ranged on the text line like a mirror.

Not sure if it can be solved and it is far beyond my reach.

Now, from my experience it is anyway very complicated to code using rtl.
I always edit under an "en" language else brackets and others " breaks up in all the direction.

As acceptable workaround i suggest:

1) If a rtl (may be other languages suffer this problem) is selected the highlighter is not active (but the feature on/off is not change site wide).

2) Wiki editing is always forced =&gt; direction: ltr; text-align: left;

On both case it means that Wiki editing is for tech user and that's quite fine with the tendance on any other CMS Wiki blog...

This assume that basic user can properly work with a WYSIWYG editor/toolbar... i fear it is no</pre>

If i switch to another language and click continue i will be anyway in english.

If it is for the language of the TW once it is installed there should be no doubt about it. (is this really important at this stage of the installation ?)
And anyway this is not working as the website language keep being english and not what i have selected.

2) Ending the install without locking.
At the end i selected enter the website without locking.
I was redirected to tiki-install.php?nolockenter&amp;install_type=update
Restarting tiki install instead of entering the website.

<pre>
Hi all

Back home but with very little free time for Tiki (as expected around this time).

I don't see any blockers on http://dev.tiki.org/Tiki9 or the sprawling regressions page, but don't really have time to wade through it all.

Presumably still the plugin approval issue?

I had a quick look on trunkdev and there were lots of unapproved ones there - i tried https://trunkdev.tiki.org/tiki-plugins.php?refresh=y but got error 500 (Changi, any clues at 09:40 and 09:42 GMT approx?)

Guess that's the blocker preventing the Tiki "dwarfs" (doc, dev, info etc) being upgraded and hence stopping the beta coming out.

I'm a bit concerned that it looks like commits have dried up on 9.x and lots of activity is now happening in trunk again, which will make auto-merging harder eventually.

My 2c - sorry i can't do more, but will try and set aside some time for the plugin thing.

CartoGraf is going to be an awesome application in itself. What makes
it even more awesome is that it's all reusing generic features of Tiki

If you want to deploy this application, just get a fresh Tiki 9.x

Hi Nelson

Have definitely had that before and usually have tracked it down to
css issues - usually involving the display:table hacks in *lite, in
fact i committed a little fix for something slightly related in the
eatlon/teal theme option where firefox messed up the display due to
multiply defined nested "table" divs (class fixedwidth i think).

Try poking about in the DOM in firebug maybe?

[Tiki-devel] rel=box in a standart Tiki menu?

<pre>Hi friends,

I need to open a few links from menus (menuitems) in a colorbox instead
of a new tab / new window / same tab

Has anybody an idea, how I could do that?

If I write html on a wikipage like this:

&lt;a href="url" rel="box"&gt;text&lt;/a&gt;

it works aswell as wikisyntax like this:

[url|text|box]

but both I cannot use in the url-field of the menu item of
/tiki-admin_menus.php

Thx for any hint
--Torsten
