Where can I find Meta Programming Plugin?

Could anyone tell me where can I find the Meta Programming plugin?

I need to install HgWeb plugin and it requires Meta Programming 0.1.

I searched in google and every site talk about meta points to

Is it moved to a new locaion?

Add items to Resolution field

When selecting the status of Resolved or Closed, we need to add additional

to the Resolution drop down list.  Please see screen shot attached.

I have looked in the forum and it states to go ion to the 
lang\strings_english.txt field but we do not have this file. I just need 
to know the /folder/file name this change can be made in and what needs to 
be changed in the file.

Install issues with postgres

Running the install.php I'm getting a BAD Checking PHP support for 
database type: database is not supported by PHP. Check that it has been 
compiled into your server.

I already have postgres installed and am using it for git (which I want 
to integrate with mantis.)

Is this message erroneous in some way or do I *really* need to have 
postgres "compiled into my server"? How would I do that anyway (compile 
into my server)?

Is it possible to have a complete and stable integration of git/mantis 
with git backed by postgres and mantis backed by MySQL?

Adding a user to multiple projects

Hi,

Quick Q we are using Mantis 1.2.4

I have had a request come in for 5 new users to be added with 'the same
projects as me' where they are in 140 projects.

Traditionally I'd add them manually - but that is too many projects for too
many people.

Am I missing the 'Clone User' or 'Copy projects from x' or add all sub
projects button?

BUG / issue with My Summary - By Category

Custom field not displayed correctly / PostgreSQLDatabase

Hello


I have a strange problem since I re-installed mantis (without data
migration) on a postgres database.

We are using some custom fields:

- Deadline (Date)
- Zeitaufwand in Stunden (Numeric)

When a custom field is marked to be displayed in "View Issues" the
value is not solved.

0000102 | minor | assigned | open | 000.000.000 |000.001.000 | Missing
world border | 2012-07-24 | < at >deadline< at >

The same is in the printing report:

0000072 | 2012-06-14| 2012-07-25 | 000.000.000 | 000.001.000 | 2 |
< at >deadline< at > | < at >zeitaufwand in stunden< at >

Like you can see, the values are replaced with < at >custom_field_name< at >.
When editing an issue, the value is visible in the issue form.

I checked the values in the database, there are too good.

Versions:

want to make my custom field required only ifcertain category selected

Is it possible to make my new custom field only required if the issue has a specific category?... or is this require real changes to the actual php code?   I am not really good at php, and don't want to write a custom function but I probably could if someone could steer me in the right direction..... if this is possible easily.
 
We are still using mantis version 1.1.7

unable to login with username and password

Sir,
       I have installed mantisbt1.2.11 in windows7 with xampp. I have the
same
issue. I couldn login. It shows "Your account may be disabled or blocked or
the
username/password you entered is incorrect.". I have changed settings in
php.ini
by making "register_globals on". Still i couldn login. I tried to reset
password
but i didn get mail to my account. I changed in database and tried to login
but
couldn. I have also created a user and i didn get confirmation mail to my
account. I dnt knw whats the problem in it. Kindly help me.. Pls guide me to
resolve the issues.

I've created a repository. When I try to import latest data, I get the

Hi All,

I'm currently testing out the CGit plugin from the mantisbt-plugins repository, setting up repos seems to work fine, however when I import the data all of the timestamps are 0. Is this a known problem?

when you add attachment is file_type always set?

Hi
In the mantis DB when a user attaches/uploads a file to an issue, is the file_type field in the mantis_bug_file_table always supposed to be populated?  During our integration between mantis and another product we noticed that some files/attachments don't have a file_type.
 
We are experiencing corruption in some attached files, and was wondering if it was related.  Doesn't seem likely to me, because some of the files still open, but have corruption in them.  I could see if the file_type told mantis how to open something then it may matter.
 
just thought I'd ask the question... to see if anyone knows.
 
secondly - if it is supposed to be populated - will it matter if we don't populate the missing ones -

Dear all,I'm trying to integrate GIT with mantis.i've installed :1. Meta2. Source Gitweb Integration 0.16 Im trying to configure mantis to retrieve git repo from the following:

i've filled the fields as follows:

Use Nagios and Python to add a Issue/Note

Hello,

At work we have the fowolling scenario, we have a nagios server for the 
monitoring and an mantis for issue-tracking.

Now our plan was that the nagios reports an issue to our mantis, because 
we could see if some of our admins is working on the reported issue.

So the workflow schould look like this:

1. Nagios detect an error
2. Nagios calls the Python script,
3 The Python script checkt if there is an open issue, 
3.1 when there is none it will open a new "ticket"
3.2 when there is one it will add a note with the Nagios report
4. An Admin checks the Report and fix it.

1. Nagios detect that an error is gone.
2. Nagios calls the Python script.
3. The Python script checks for an open issue.
4. Nagios add a Note to the open ticket.
5. An Admin checks if the error is really fixed  and close the Issue.

So this is the plan.

My Python script [1] can add a new tickent, but if i want to add a note, 
it runs into an error[2].
