I found the PepManager in Psi that manage the Pubsub in xmpp. But it seems
not to be done completely?
I found that there are many funtions in this class was commented out and
couldnot be used? (For ex. function for creating new node...)
Where can I get full implement pubsub in Psi? Is it implemented In Psi++?
Would appreciate for any support..

<pre>Hi,

I'm trying to debug why Psi doesn't go offline before my machine sleeps.

I've written a small script for pm-utils that sends the above mentioned
dbus message and made sure there is enough time before the signal to
NetworkManager is sent, but somehow only when I resume the machine it
tries to disconnect and then receives the 'wake' signal and reconnects.

Any ideas how to debug this?
Having it reconnect on waking up from sleep is already good, but having
it disconnect too would be even better.

Cheers

Thomas

PS: this is on debian wheezy/7 with gnome as the WM.

<pre>Hi all Psi community.
I could build the Psi, but I couldnot debug it... I think it is because of
Qca.
When I debugged to the QCA::KeyStoreManager keystoremgr; the Qt SDK show
the error of segmentation signal from OS. And many of the other things, the
sdk generate this error when debugging.
Do you know how can I solve this problem?

(in code of Psi 0.16, I see the value of Version still 0.15-dev)

I use Window 7 (32bit), Qt Creator 2.0.1, base on 4.7.0 (32 bit)

Thank you in advance for any help.

I just installed a new certificate at jabber.org. With Psi 0.15 I
receive a certificate validation error. With Adium 1.5.4 I don't.
AFAICT, the only material difference between the old cert and the new
cert is that I requested a SHA-256 hash this time (also please note
that the common name is register.jabber.org, not jabber.org, but
jabber.org is also listed as a supported domain). Does Psi 0.15
support only SHA-1? Can someone else test with Psi and report their
experience? Feel free to ping me off-list.

Thanks.

<pre>Hola,

Sorry for slightly ruining threading but I just signed up and do not
have the previous messages.

Regarding this issue Asterisk does the payload name comparison in a case
insensitive fashion and is properly receiving and handling the media
received from Psi, it just does not seem to contain actual audio.

Per the last message from Justin Karneges if you change your own
comparison to be case insensitive but continue to send SPEEX you
*should* be okay, at least from my experience with the various SDP
implementations that you may interact with. Most are very forgiving in
that area.

Cheers,

<pre>Hello!

I'm trying to get psi working with asterisk chan_motif.

And I can't get sound, so I opened bug report, just because psi-psi
works OK:

https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-20592

and problem is found:
"
Joshua Colp
&lt;https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?name=jcolp&gt;
added a comment - 06/Nov/12 4:56 PM

I've isolated the problem to Psi *requiring* that the payload name for
speex be capitalized, despite the RFC for it saying otherwise
(http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5574). If the payload name is not
capitalized it will happily send Asterisk media and receive media, but
not send it to the sound card. Change it to be capitalized and boom -
it's happy and you can hear audio. I'll see about what can be done for
that... "

So, is there any way to change psi to be rfc compliant?

Thank you!

<pre>Going forward, bundling libraries within the Psi source tree will be
discouraged. Notably, 0.15 will no longer contain copies zlib and qca. You
must get these dependencies elsewhere.

For Windows and Mac platforms, where dealing with dependencies is generally a
greater pain in the ass than on Linux, the new build scripts in admin/build
take care of automatically fetching needed dependencies. So, in the end, it's
not any more difficult to build Psi after these removals than before. In fact,
it's easier now, as the build process will pull in things like openssl, which
were never bundled with Psi in the first place.

one-button builds

<pre>It is finally possible to build and package Psi, with dependencies, using a
single command. At the moment this only works for Mac, but it will soon work
for Windows as well.

 export QTDIR=/path/to/qt
 cd admin/build &amp;&amp; make VERSION=somestring

With the exception of Qt (which you're assumed to have, and you must set
QTDIR), this will automatically download all other dependencies prior to
compiling. Notably you no longer have to hand-edit version strings in files.
Files containing version numbers are generated.

Most of the dependency packages are downloaded from psi-im.org [1]. What's
nice is many of these packages are generally built in a similar one-button
fashion via scripts from the psideps repo.

Everything is being built as 32-bit + 64-bit x86. For Mac, a universal binary
is made. For Windows, there will be two packages, one for each arch. Minimum
OS targets are Mac 10.5 and Windows XP.

What's left: psimedia package for Windows, and then Psi itself for Windows.
Once this is done, I'll be restoring the daily snapshots and putting out 0.15-
beta2.

At some point I also want to script the Windows installer, but generally we
have not used installers for daily snapshots or betas, so this won't be a
blocker.

Google downranking links in the Psi wiki

<pre>Recently I received the strangest email: someone asking me to remove a spam
link from the Psi wiki because it is negatively impacting that site's ranking.

I suppose we could clear out the links, but if someone originally added these
links on their own to our wiki, I don't really have sympathy if it is coming
back to bite them.

Anyone know anything about this sort of thing?
