I have an installation with Globus Toolkit 4.2.1, Gridsphere 3.2 and Vine toolkit 1.3.1. I have verified that myproxy works and I am able to start a server and issue new credentials. I did have to set MYPROXY_SERVER_DN in order to make this work. However when I try to create a new credential in the vine portal I get more or less the same error I got before setting the MYPROXY_SERVER_DN variable, even though the tomcat server is started from a user with this variable in its environment. The error is: MyProxy get failed. [Caused by: Mutual authentication failed Expected target subject name="/CN=host/tr-lx346491.tr.statoil.no&lt;http://tr-lx346491.tr.statoil.no/&gt;" Target returned subject name="/O=Grid/OU=GlobusTest/OU=simpleCA-tr-lx346491/CN=globus"] I have my MYPROXY_SERVER_DN=/O=Grid/OU=GlobusTest/OU=simpleCA-tr-lx346491/CN=globus Is there anything else I have to do in order to send this environment variable or could it be something else wrong?
