Matthijs instructed me (very carefuly) to edit installation to contain 
SqlLite. It's 32-bit version, it should run everywhere.

In the past we used SQL localdb for storing debug info. Its slow and gives
install issues for users.

I got it VsSDK installed only with express, integrated, isolated shell.

we need multiple things though, first we should finish up the changes
related to sqlite support. Maybe you could do that?
VS SDK should be installable normally on VS Standard and up..

I was testing by my self. I could build with install.bat (without arguments) the hole devkit. I have install VsSdk with a trick.

Only the Task that should start the setup is not working. How is it desired?

Also is the Inno script probably not complete from my side.

I vote the same #2 I already did a bit of changing to use the generic class
and the connection made via the provider and that works so that's done just
have to make it a executable (: shouldn't be to hard.

So. Did some investigation. The strategy I had in mind (registering the
DbProviderFactory at runtime) wont work.

I'll have a thought on strategies we can use tonight..

Some already come to mind:
- GAC the assemblies (as a last resort. ms advice is dont use GAC, it's
dll-hell vNext)
- run msbuild tasks as executables. This would allow us to use app.config
of those executables to register sqlite. This might be interesting as well
for other reasons, as it might be usable to debug things easier..

Other suggestions? I'd personally opt for nr2. Although it's a bit of
work...

When I was investigating this bug I found that using the Compiler Tester didn't yield any bugs. But on building an os, the exception was thrown.

I didn't do any thorough reading but seems like the assembly.loadfrom
context automatically auto loads dependencies in the same folder.
Msbuild uses .loadfrom if the UsingTask element has the AssemblyFile
attribute specified.
Can someone check what we use?

Maybe. But gac-ing the assembly doesn't register it with the dbfactories
stuff.....

the System.Data.SQLite.dll needs to be in the GAC because msbuild cannot
find it since msbuild's base directory is in visual studios and it loads
Cosmos.Common.MSBuild or w.e it cannot find the System.Data.SQLite.dll in
the msbuild directory the System.Data.SQLite.dll has to always be in the
base directory if its not it will cause this error this simply means visual
studios or C# or MSIL whatever cant find System.Data.SQLite.dll so if we
added it to the GAC that would fix this issue.
