The 15th is just certification exams - the main day of the conference is
Saturday the 14th with Friday the 13th also a full day.

Hello Plugers,

You’re invited to what is going to be the most awesome night in LWSN ever! 
That’s right! The PLUG SUPER NIGHT OF AWESOME! You may say to yourself, 
what could be so awesome that you typed the title in all caps? Well how 
about a fresh and controversial tech talk about DNS, DNSsec, and how it 
stopped SOPA? Did I mention it will be sponsored by OpenDNS so there will 
be *free pizza, drinks, and OpenDNS swag!?!*

But that is only the half of it. Part 2 of the super night of awesome will 
be *PLUG’s Open Source LAN Party! Over 26 completely free and cross 
platform (Windows, Mac, and Linux) games* will be available for you to

Hey, Thor!

It was great seeing you and catching up some on the bus last week.  I can't
remember, are these sessions still being taped and made available in the
wiki?  I know there was prep or talk about that last semester or so, but
that was around when I was attending almost every one of them so I never
actually checked.  I have been too busy to hit them this semester though
there have been some really great topics (beating myself up that I didn't
take the time to drop by).

Well, just curious...hopefully see you this Friday!

FYI in case you were wordering about current projected wait time for
Model B orders: I ordered one from Newark/element 14 on 2012-03-03 and
the estimated ship date was 2012-04-03.  I'm going to try using a
special version of Fedora Linux I read abouut on it.

Hi Dong

I have a similar computer model with Ubuntu 11/32bit and both PAL2.0 as
well as PAL 3.0 works fine. Did you recently changed your password ? My
recommendation would be to completely  remove the settings for PAL 3.0 from
your computer and then try again connecting and see that if it works.

If you still have trouble or are unable to connect you can contact me
individually to setup a meeting.

I think your guess about PAL3.0 is correct.  They must have gone to PAL3.0
recently, I only remember PAL2.0, and I was at Purdue this fall.

The model B comes with 2 USB ports, 1 10/100 Ethernet, dedicated 1080p
h.264 decoder and HDMI port. How about a DIY linux based HTPC? Won't
play AVI's very well though. Will definitely need a very minimalistic
distro, arch+lxde maybe?
