I slightly changes Matthieu Volat's mpris code so that it only creates

Any ideas as to when this started happening? By the trace, it looks like a
crash I fixed in September.

To help debug, edit irisnetglobal.cpp and find ~PluginInstance(). At the top
of that function, put: printf("instance=%s\n",
_instance-&gt;metaObject()-&gt;className());

It's important that the dns provider be unloaded before the network provider.

    <link>http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.network.jabber.psi.devel/7887</link>
    <description>
Good point.

I think the explanation for this one is that at some point in time, the file
dialog wasn't automatically invoked. So choosing "Send File" merely brought
you to the send file window, and you had to manually click on the icon to
open the file dialog. If you then canceled the file dialog, returning back
to the send file window made perfect sense.

Down the road, we made the file dialog get invoked automatically when the send
file window opens, since 100% of people would need to invoke it anyway. This
was meant to be a nice convenience, but you're right this does make for goofy
usability today.
