Look in your mail log file for the IMAP server errors associated with this event. The IMAP server seems to be having a rather fundamental problem. I don't think this is a SquirrelMail issue. Since you are using a hosting provider may I suggest you use ssh to set up a tunnel and port forward your smtp and imap ports. Then use a standard email client (thunderbird whatever) to create an account using the local ports which are forwarded through the ssh tunnel. For example you can localforward 70143 on your local machine to 143 on the mail server, and 7025 local to 25 on your mail server (and/or whatever other ports you are using for smtp/imap). Then create an email account using the localhost:7025 and localhost:70143. ALso I would watch the log files on the server and look for errors/details - sounds like corruption in the cyrus side of things is a possibility (database or otherwise). Guys, Please forgive me if this isn't the place but I'm a bit desperate... Ippimail just had a meltdown documented here: http://ippimail.wordpress.com/2008/09/ We are nearly through it but are still getting an error: When sending I get: Everything *was* working just fine so it's not a version/ incompatibility thing but we are truly stuck. Any ideas? I'm not familiar with the exact version details but we use Squirrelmail, Cyrus, Postfix. As I say, everything *was* working with the same versions of everything... I just found a problem with the forward as attachment functionality in 1.4.15 and 1.4.16. Trying to forward a html email(with show htmlversion on by default) as attachment attaches something with the correct subject, but the size is 0 bytes, and is verfied to be empty when ending up at the recipient. Looks like a message that was in fact sent using SquirrelMail, but if the problem you are trying to diagnose is if it really came from your server where you are the administrator, then you'll need to look at the Received headers instead. Hi guys, I have a question about the messag id of squirrel squirrel to send medicine spam. There are so many huge attacks with this xmailer/useragent. The headers of spam are always with following patterns. I'm wonderring, is the message id a valid squirrel one? Any other invalid header information in the pattern? IMO, multiple selects look and function better and are more space efficient. All but the most clueless users can eventually figure out how select widgets work. I'd really like to know if there was more reasoning behind the TODO.
