[Fedora-livecd-list] Misconfigured devicemapper setup within thelivecd?

I'm getting a strange error with the latest livecds. They are custom
made but the changes I made to the kickstart files concern my own
scripts and extra packages I want to have in the livecd. This started
to occur in the lastest 3-4 weeks. I cannot say when exactly it
started to apper. I filed a kernel-bug here
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=823205 but maybe this is a
devicemapper problem. I know that there were some changes to the
livecd-tools and lorax packges so maybe something there introduced
this bug. Can someone take a look at it? More information can be found
in my bug report.

The --home-size-mb NNN option of livecd-iso-to-disk produced a


Adam Williamson has patched fedora-live-base.ks, but
testingFedora-17.TC5-x86_64-Live-SoaS.iso
shows that a home.img filesystem is not mounted.

Adam's patches need to be applied to fedora-live-mini.ks in order to fix Sugar
on a Stick and any other builds based on fedora-live-mini.ks

[Fedora-livecd-list] How to change GRUB2 splash image in kickstartfile

Hello

I'm trying to change the GRUB2 splash image when creating a live DVD.
I'm using F17 beta (up to date as of May 6, 2012).
In the %post section I entered this command
/usr/sbin/grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
but I get this error
/usr/sbin/grub2-probe: error: failed to get canonical path of /dev/loop0

Any ideas anyone?

Fedora respin builds without issues, and boots via live-usb without
issues, at least 64bit version does, I'll test 32 bit version later.

Make sure you have lorax-16.4.8-2 or later installed. mkefiboot from it
is used to make the efiboot and macboot files.
