It would be absolutely cool to add .epub format - Greg, what do you
think about it?

<pre>I've been an Android user for a couple of years, and am starting to
explore ebook formats.

Looks as if ePUB is a/the leading open format contender. It's very
readable on Android devices (with multiple readers available), not to
mention native readers for Linux and other platforms.

DocBook supports ePUB output:
http://labs.oreilly.com/2009/02/docbook-xsl-1dot74dot1-improves-epub-output.html

There are numerous online libraries which can be subscribed to through
eBook readers which would make content distribution/access more
streamlined.

I could grab sources (from your site or from Debian/Ubuntu, which
package the HOWTOs), but it'd be nice to be able to get the materials
straight off the Linux Documentation Project's website as well.

Thanks.

<pre>Dear,

I have to apologize for the domain to be unavailable. This has been so
since late afternoon yesterday.
Apparantly it has been decided that we had "abuse" on this domain,
even though all we ran were your mirror.
We have tried to contact dot tk, but nothing can be changed.

Therefor we won't be able to serve your mirror anymore via mirrors.linsrv.tk.

Good news is: late yesterday we registered our own domain: linsrv.net,
so we WILL be able to continue via the domain:

mirrors.linsrv.net

I am sorry that I have to bother you with this, but this was not
something that could have been planned, as we did not receive any
notice or warning whatsoever.

Hopefully you will not have to change too much in your system if you
are still in need of our mirror...

For the record: nothing else has changed. Still the same server, with
the same IP address, still the same administrator.

I'm writing to You, because I've noticed that on the tille.garrels.be new versions of two guides are available. "Bash Guide for Beginners" is Revision 1.12 when on Your site it is version: 1.11 and "Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide" is Revision 1.30 when on Your site it is version: 1.27. I've thought that maybe You should update Your database. Anyhow, thank You for maintaining Your wonderful site full of class documentation. Sorry for my English, I know it's not so good.

<pre>Hi there-

I'm an admin for the Western Pennsylvania Linux Users Group (WPLUG).
For several years now, one of our members has run an LDP mirror at
ldp.wplug.org.

Unfortunately, in the very near future he is losing access to the
resources he used to host it, and no volunteers have stepped up to
replace it.

I ask that you remove this mirror from your list. Also, which of
the following options do you recommend we pursue (arranged in
increasing order of effort on my part :)?

1. Remove DNS entry for ldp.wplug.org
2. Point DNS for ldp.wplug.org to the main site or another location
3. Set up a temporary HTTP redirect from ldp.wplug.org to the main
 site or another location

Let me know, thanks.

Later,
Vance

naturally thought of you and your product because it is open source and in

asking you permission if I can use various components of Ubuntu as screen

famous Penguins) and a few PDF Manuals like "Linux Tutorial.pdf" which is
only seen as a title in our system. I can </pre>

this is Tom from SymbolHound.com, the search engine specifically
designed for programmers. We search for otherwise un-googleable
characters (&lt; at &gt;#$%^&amp;*, and so on) that are often found in code, and are
invisible to most web crawlers. We wanted to offer you guys the option
to have a SymbolHound custom search bar on your site in place of your
Google search bar. We would give you everything that you need [for
free!], and this would provide more complete, useful search results
for your users.

Thanks for your time, I look forward to hearing from you! Let us know

I have made this enquiry before but unfortunately don't appear to have
received a response. I am interested in adding a link for my client
Upgrade Central (http://www.upgradecentral.co.uk) on the links/resources
page of your website.

In return for this I can offer your website a free business listing on
our UK B2B Directory (http://www.b2b-directory-uk.co.uk) A very powerful
directory, in which all of the sections are 1 click away from the
homepage and all are high Google Page Rank. You can place your listing
on any section using your preferred anchor text and description.

Do let me know if you wish to go ahead with this or if there is
something else we can do in return for the link.

Kind Regards

Instead of citing points about differences in the brain and basically feeding more arguments AGAINST women being involved in CS the article should aim to point out what is wrong with these statements with realtime facts and examples.
