CALL FOR POSTERS AND DEMOS

The ACM Conference on Embedded Networked Sensor Systems (SenSys) is a
highly selective forum for the presentation of research results on
systems issues in the area of embedded, networked sensors. Distributed
systems based on networked sensors and actuators with embedded
computation capabilities allow for an instrumentation of the physical
world at an unprecedented scale and density, thus enabling a new
generation of monitoring and control applications. SenSys provides a
cross-disciplinary venue for researchers addressing the rich space of
networked sensor system design issues to interact, present and
exchange research results, and demonstrate their work in a hands-on
research exhibition.

SenSys 2013 solicits submissions of both poster and demo abstracts in
reflecting research and development in the above areas of interest.

Call For Papers
SenSys 2013---The 11th ACM Conference on Embedded Networked Sensor Systems

November 11-15, 2013
Rome, Italy
****************************************************************************************************
Sensing systems are changing the way computers interact with the
physical world -- and are driving a host of new issues in computer
system design, implementation, and performance.

SenSys 2013 is the premier venue to discuss system issues raised by
emerging trends in sensing systems – broadly defined to include mobile
sensing, body sensing, Kinect, camera networks, RFID, and many others.

We solicit technical papers describing original ideas, ground breaking
results and/or quantified system experiences involving sensor systems.
The conference values papers that

Mobile IPv6 Fast Handovers specification currently does not
explicitly define prefix management over point-to-point links when a
mobile node uses a prefix to formulate a new care-of-address. In
this document a mechanism is developed for a previous access router
to request unique prefixes from a new access router, and in turn, the
previous access router advertises the prefixes to the mobile node for
a new care-of-address configuration. Extensions to Mobile IPv6 Fast
Handovers specification are also specified in this document.

FYI. While going through some AUTH48 issues, I found out that I had
missed one important e-mail on this draft. This draft was approved by
the IESG in September 2010, but in late November we were informed about
a new IPR disclosure. Yet the e-mail never went to the working group
list, because we closed the working group and apparently closed working
group lists are not copied in these cases. The information about the IPR
notice is given below.

I would like to give the working group another opportunity to consider
this draft given this new information, as we do in all similar
situations. As a result, I'm taking the document back to WGLC and IETF
LC. Please respond by Jan 23rd if you have any comments regarding this
draft.

Frank=>OK.

RFC 5568 does not say this information needs to be manually configured.
It just says that the PAR manages to resolve the Access Point ID to a
particular NAR and the prefix associated with the NAR. The NCoA is
definitely not configured on the PAR, since the NCoA could contain the
mobile node's interface identifier.

In the shared link mode, the PAR only needs to figure out what IPv6
prefix is advertised by the NAR. In most cases, there would only be
a small set of adjacent NARs and the PAR would be able to obtain
this information easily. In the point-to-point link mode, the NAR
has access to a pool of IPv6 prefixes and these prefixes are assigned
dynamically to each mobile node's point-to-point link. Therefore it

I guess you refer to the new text in 4.3.1, which came in since version
7. Yes. I think it
will stay and Vijay requested an addition section where to describe
*what* the
MN actually needs to support to be tBCE capable.

So, we keep the current text in 4.3.1 and refer to section 4.7 in this
context.

Is that ok?
