We are using SVN instead of CVS. You can find the Emilda source code in

And I need to drain the database to have a empty database to use with
other intention.

Into the emilda configuration I have this values:

Zebra Database: Default
System Path to Zebra Folder:/srv/www/emilda/zebra/
Records Folder:records/
Zebra Configuration File:zebra.cfg

I could make a copy of /srv/www/emilda/ directory, what else I need
copy, and how can I delete all records, books IDs, etc.

Thanks

Hello Anders,

Emilda is currently undergoing a fairly stagnated phase. The company
behind Emilda, Realnode Oy, is realigning its business focus which
implies that Emilda no longer fits into the core portfolio of the company.

Emilda is however currently also being developed in cooperation with
other parties, however not under any strict or binding release schedule.
This means that every now and then there are new features being added to
the SVN-repository, but there are no plans to release any stable
releases any time soon. The code on SVN is currently in production use,
so it IS stable, but not a release.

Hence we are looking for people from the community to actively
participate in organizing the entire project. Realnode Oy would be
willing to step back on its role as project coordinator, and let an
external group be the leading force. We would of course back the project
up to the extent possible!

Hopefully this clarifies the situation a bit. It may sound as a sad
reading, but we at least be</description>

Hello Everyone!

Now that sourceforge.net offers Subversion, I wonder if there is any
interest in moving to it?

For those unfamiliar with Subversion, there is the excellent book at:

   http://svnbook.red-bean.com/

Personally, I think Subversion is better than CVS. And Sourceforge's
implementation of Subversion has no delay, since there are no
replication hacks to wait on.

And, Sourceforge provides an automated process for converting from CVS.

Thanks,
Dave.

we are doing CMS aren't we ? :-)

- "book review" (http://drupal.org/node/7880) maybe a basis to get a

as far as i know not within emilda.

i do it with a perl program which walks all bibliographic records (i.e.
marc data), reads emilda's database accordingly and generates pdf which
can be printed out on label-sheets via acrobat reader.
i could give you the source but due to its nature it is rather complex
and not too easy to adjust because for my needs it does much more (i.e.
check ordering of shelving etc.) and of course you would have to be fit
to re-program in perl. but it could be a working skeleton for your needs
though ...

Regrettably, Emilda will not even produce the complete output of big
databases on state-of-the-art servers with the current system. The
amount of work performed in the "print all books" scripts is so
overwhelming because of the cross referencing into MySQL, that there is
no server that will produce the output of a 2k+ database in 60 sec. We
are working on imroving this, but we'll have to wait and see what we
might come up with.
