Yes, we have it set up. I try to move all of the details of logging in out of the way because of my student population. This simplified instruction and has encouraged more use of the bookshelf and highlighting features, as well as the ebook downloading feature.

We put our ebrary records into our catalog as well, which alone bumped use 200%

It's not as fiddly as it looks in the documentation, it's quite straightforward when you contact ebrary to get it set up.

We are using the latest published stanza for Springer Link:

Substitute your sp= in the U https line and you needed to use Option NoXForwarded-For (ours was already in place).

Christina,

We just set this up this month.

We're happy to have single sign on, but there were some tradeoffs:

1. We'd had ebrary up for some time, so we had some number of patrons who'd created accounts without our campus credentials. Once we switched to SSO, those accounts were no longer accessible. ebrary Support tells us that if we can tell them enough identifying information about the old and new accounts, they will migrate accounts for our users. There is no way for patrons to get to this old account themselves once SSO is enabled.

2. ebrary Support was unable to tell us how many of our patrons had created accounts the old way, so we had no idea how many of our patrons might need account migration. That's unfortunate, but there was nothing we could do about it other than try to publicize the change and put a note up on our login screen alerting patrons to the change and tell them how to get in touch with us.

Overall though, we're happy this was an option. We should have just set it up as soon

Hello, Erin & Kathy and anyone else with the ScienceDirect PDF pop-up
problem:

All I can say is that I added the stanzas exactly as they are, made sure
that there were no other conflicting stanzas and had our IT folks reboot the
EZproxy server. The problem was solved.

Here is how it looks in the config file:

Title DOI Digital Object Identifier

Title Oxford Medical Handbooks
URL http://www.oxfordmedicine.com/
DJ oxfordmedicine.com

Using the proxied DOI should resolve to the proxied URL on the Oxford Medicine site, eg

We've also added all three stanzas and ac.els-cdn.com and are also still
seeing the problem.

Hi Stephanie,
I noticed that your stanza uses DJ and mine uses Domain. I just changed mine to match yours, restarted EZproxy, and now I am able to access the content in the sections on an iPad via EZproxy. Previously, I was prompted to login at that point. I'll see if my off campus user can access it now too on her PC.
Thanks!
Don

Richard--

We also had the same problem. We resolved it by doing the following two things:

(1) Using this stanza in our config.txt file:

Title CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics
URL http://www.hbcpnetbase.com/
DJ hbcpnetbase.com

(2) Making sure the vendor had the specific IP address for our EZproxy server.

I've got DJ & HJ instead of Domain & Host, so that's the next escalation.

Hi Brian,
I added the domain, but that didn't seem to fix it. Any other ideas?

I have an off campus user who is able to authenticate to EZproxy and open the CRC Handbook, but when she clicks on a link to a section or anything within a section she's prompted by CRC to login. She's using a PC running Windows XP and Firefox (don't know the versio

Richard,
Add domain hbcpnetbase.com to your config and see if that resolves the problem.
