A well-known firearms researcher punched a pinhole in what may be one of the biggest myths being propagated by the gun prohibition lobby and repeated by the mainstream press when he noted today that the news media "ignore their own reports" that show gun ownership is increasing.

Today's Seattle Times reports that the National Transportation and Safety Board (NTSB) wants to ratchet down on the legal limit for blood alcohol to reduce the number of fatal traffic accidents involving drunk drivers, leading some gun rights advocates to wonder why gun crime is treated differently.

My issues carrying larger pistols is the weight and dragging down my
pants. I'm afflicted with a common condition called Noassatal.
Suspenders are not an option for me (shoulder issues.)

if you are worried about printing, and you can carry full size firearms if you want ... don’t want to wear it? Carry it like a “man bag” nobody cares anymore ....... so? if they think it’s a gun? fluck ‘em, it is and you’ll use it on them if they get rambunctious about it ........ I’ve used Tommy packs for years ......or .........if you are worried about being made....... http://www.wholesalecentral.com/romaleathersinc/Store.cfm?event=itemdetail&amp;amp;itemid=512286&amp;amp;returnto=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.wholesalecentral.com%2Fromaleathersinc%2FStore.cfm

get a fanny pack with a water bottle attached ........ no one thinks guns when they see the water bottle

Ruger LC9 has worked well for me ...pants slightly larger with an IWB
"tuckable" holster, although I rarely tuck. I would prefer the higher
capacity of my Springfield XD9 but it is simply too large for my normal
retired clothing. The LC9 is thin enough that I works well.

CPL figure skyrockets 15K in a single month

More than 426,000 active Washington concealed pistol licenses are now in circulation, up a staggering 15,289 in the month since Examiner last checked with the state Department of Licensing (DOL), confirming what various sources in law enforcement say about the volume of applications and renewals, and the work overload to process them.

While today's Seattle Times reports the identity of a 48-year-old man killed in a home invasion confrontation in North Bend early Monday morning, a spirited discussion by gun owners about the incident is unfolding on the Northwest Firearms forum.

I found myself checking and adjusting too often the first few times I carried. I am getting much more comfortable and, I feel, acting more like I did before I started to carry.

<description>&lt;pre&gt;mm mm OK, not trying to start or say anything, but I thought she may have reservations about the responsibility of gun carrying. I sat my women down, explained what, where why and how, plus what will happen afterwards, as the financial fate that befalls me, will affect them also, and the possibility I may go to jail exists also. They were comfortable with that info. They felt as I, that our lives and well being came first, courts and jail later, if applied

No Warren, she isn't anti gun, or worried what her friends would think, maybe it was the fact that I didn't make it a point to her that I was carrying. Like I stated, I wasn't trying to be secretive about it. I am trying to carry more on a regular basis.

As mentioned Sylvia told me "I assume you carry every time we leave the house". No problem, but we'd talked about it when we got our CCW's (many, many years ago) and we talk about it when we train. Don't let things accidentally become secret! Drag it out in the open.
