Adopting javadoc plugin

<pre>Hi all,

I intend to adopt the javadoc plugin. I'm interested in using
it on my own wiki, support and maybe improve it (add config, ...)
The javadoc plugin developer Damien Coraboeuf allowed me to do so
(see below).

Cheers
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

You are very welcome to adopt it. I do not use docuwiki for a while now,
so I do not support this plug-in any longer.

Best regards,
Damien.

Today morning the internal requests worked. A caching problem, maybe.
Cleaning the cache with the cache plugin had no effect, yesterday.

I used ml() in my php page and cached the link, and it works. Thank you
very much!

In order to mitigate a security vulnerability, we've introduced a token for fetch requests which require image resizing or cropping[1]. DokuWiki should generate image links using the "ml()" function which should include the correct token. Some templates or plugins might not do this. Where possible (which should be in most cases), the references to lib/exe/fetch (or _media) should be replaced with calls to "ml()".

When generating links outside DW:
- if the images are dynamic, you could add tokens by including DW from your php page and caching the resulting link (to minimize the necessity to include DW).
- if the images are stable, quickest is probably to generate the links in a normal dokuwiki page and copy them to the external php page.

If you still have problems, feel free to contact me directly - you should see my email address in DW code.

<pre>Hi all,

I've got an idea to write a plugin that would prevent people saving pages
with no content. This would force them to leave some comment about why the
page is no longer there (and e.g. add a redirect link). Has anyone done
this before? Is it the wrong way to do this sort of thing?

My initial investigations make me think it'll be necessary to use
ACTION_ACT_PREPROCESS and just change $ACT — because IO_WIKIPAGE_WRITE is
too late and saveWikiText() does particular things for pages what
$wasRemoved ;-)

Thanks,
Sam.

I found a solved bug but... It seems not solved for me :P

How can I solve it?

I started work on a plugin that uses online anti-commentspam services.
https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:botbouncer

But I'm afraid it's not (yet) watertight. It let's bots through and it
blocks valid users.
I haven't found the time to keep working on it, but I hope to do that
later on.

I use the same on my site, for registrations, and there it works much
better.

<pre>Just a quick heads up for everyone: If you're running a public wiki,
install the CAPTCHA plugin and make sure you have the most recent
version of it. The new version introduced randomizing field names
which makes it harder to fill by bots and even the simple JavaScript
text method seems to be enough (at least some reports seem to suggest
this).

If you have ideas how to improve the plugin without making it harder
for valid users I'd be happy to hear them. I'd be even more happy
about Pull Requests.

<pre>
The same happened across multiple of my Dokuwiki installations. Someone
finally wrote a Dokuwiki spambot. :(

For most wikis I have, it worked to switch the captcha plugin from
"Javascript" to "Image+Audio". This did not work for one wiki, but
worked for all others so far.

I want to use reCAPTCHA, but only if the requests are proxied via the
dokuwiki installation (which is possible, but the plugin needs to be
modified for that). I don't want to give (even more) user details to Google.
