That will generate a signature and you can compare the signature you generate with what you should be sending to the API.

Hi Linux on Rails -- You just need to update the YAML parser to 'syck'. It
doesn't play well with newer version of Rails yet. I've already published a
version of the fix in my branch at  https://github.com/ryancshih/eventfulapi.
Let me know if it doesn't work.

Parse error when searching events in Berlin

Hi!!

I have a problem searching events in Berlin. I have a parse error with
eventfulapi.

Psych::SyntaxError in EventsController#index

couldn't parse YAML at line 1 column 0

$ bundle exec rails --version
Rails 3.2.11
$ bundle list | grep event
  * eventfulapi (2.2.1)


Then problem is in:

vendor/bundle/ruby/1.9.1/gems/eventfulapi-2.2.1/lib/eventful/api.rb (line 356)

There are interface libraries in several languages at 
http://api.eventful.com/libs but none for C#.

Maybe you can write the first, and use http://restsharp.org/ as the rest 
client.

Or, use this to write something quick and dirty as Alex suggests:

I'm curious why that would be necessary. To use the API you just
access a URL as the query and get a response either in XML or JSON
formats. C# already has the facilities for accessing URLs and parsing
XML or JSON, doesn't it?
