And - I really like the Lurker as a list frontend - nice.

They should be identical. I first one is some 3rd part archive software
that I setup. It's gives you a very nice view of the archive and is
searchable.
The second one is simply Mailman's built in archiving system which is
OK, but not very versatile.

Use which ever you prefer. I've long told people that were looking for
a web forum that they could get most of what they wanted by using the
archive to read the list and simply subscribing with their settings set
to not actually send them any mail. That way you are a subscriber and
can send and reply to messages still.

new update:
Are you a video lover or a music lover? Are there video files that you want
only the sound of for your mp3 player?
Here is how to do that:
-If you are not running Linux you will need to install virtualbox onto your
machine allocating 1 gb of memory to the Linux virtual machine.
-Download http://www.linuxmint.com/oldreleases.php
-Install it into your virtualmachine
-Start Linux mint annd after it starts press "<alt><cntrl>-T".
This opens what is called a "Shell" and in it type

youtube-dl -o <filename>.flv --extract-audio --audio-format=mp3 "youtube
url" (with quotes) <return>

The 'o' option names the file.
The "--extract-audio" option does what it says.
The "--audio-format=..." can be best, aac, mp3
If you just want to download the entire video leave out the
"--extract-audio" and "--audio-format..." options.
For more information type "man youtube-dl".

Okay PLUG,how do you download it as an mp4 or what other video files can I
download it as? I think you would do "-o <filename>.<filetype>" but the
man page doesn't say anything.

Hmmmm...... You know I think we should perhaps do a tutorial on installing
linux into a virtual box so that widows users can avail themselves of these
linux how-to's.

Does anyone have a how-to for installing a virtualbox for Linux or do I
need to write one up?

This looks like the KDE or GNOME mini-command-line, which is usually bound to
