yesterday I received a message from the pkgsrc-users mailing list that
I cannot read in wl. The below error is displayed:

condition-case: Wrong type argument: stringp, nil
Wrong type argument: stringp, nil

The imap4-debug buffer shows that the message was fetched successfully.

I get the same error when I try to read it via nntp (gmane):

* in folder buffer press g
* /last:30/-gmane.os.netbsd.devel.pkgsrc.user&lt; at &gt;news.gmane.org
* open message from June 7th, 2013 with the subject
"git python option: defaulting to off"

Any ideas what's wrong here?

Why were both headers not decoded and displayed properly?

<pre>When I relaunch Wanderlust sometimes (i.e., after having launched a

max-eval-depth." Because of this, Wanderlust will not update my inbox. It
shows what I had before.

And then other times, I can't enter my Inbox because of
"max-lisp-eval-depth."

Maybe there's some variable here I need to set to nil.

My current solution is to completely kill all mail processes, then launch
Wanderlust afresh.

<pre>Thanks everyone, now everything works fine.
The story was:

(1) I have modified my patch from originally sent wrongly
when adding following line.
+(eval-when-compile (require 'wl-folder))

The wrongly means, say, like this:
+ (if (stringp content-type)
+ (cond
+ ((string-match "multipart/mixed" content-type) "&lt; at &gt;" "")
+ ((string-match "multipart/signed" content-type) "s" "")
+ ((string-match "multipart/encrypted" content-type) "e" "")
+ )) ))
+

I will add this patch to pkgsrc/wip/wl-current:
  http://pkgsrc-wip.sourceforge.net/
  http://pkgsrc-wip.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/pkgsrc-wip/wip/wl-current/

<pre>Yamaoka San, thanks a lot,
But either re-compile whole thing or adding
  (require 'wl-folder)
in wl-summary.el
still fails to fix this problem. I'm doing something bad
on above process, or the problem is in other thing.
I will check more,
