There is now a reference doc about CPS upgrade steps:
http://svn.nuxeo.org/trac/pub/browser/CPS3/products/CPSDefault/trunk/doc/howto-implement_upgrade_steps.txt

It has been contributed by Jose Luis de la Rosa in

and then integrated in the CPS project with his authorization.
Thanks again Jose.

Sorry for the very late answer on that.

This is fixed in the recent versions of CPS,

SPIP has excellent support for incorporating and managing external

We've found an error when we use datetime widget on directories. If you

We've solved it by including this code on style_slot on

&lt;style type="text/css"
      tal:content="string:&lt; at &gt;import

      tal:define="local cpsmcat/getSelectedLanguage"

    <description>Hi all:

I'm trying to import external themes following the next steps:

0. Create a new File in the Portal containing the *.zexp file generated
by the theme exporting tool.

1. Add a new theme:

  ID: printable
  Theme URL:
http://localhost:8081/webgen/workspaces/otrotheme/downloadFile/file/printable.zexp

2. Click on check for Updates. I get the "New theme available!" on the
"Status" column.

3. Check my "printable" theme and click on "Install updates".

4. I get next error:

Error Type: ExportError
Error Value:

Invalid export header

    <description>Bonjour!!

I'm trying to create a directory programatically, but i'm getting errors
when I try to use the _setObject() method.
This is my code:

dtool = context.portal_directories

dir = ZODBDirectory( ... )

# here i assert that ZODBDirectory is created correctly

dtool._setObject(dir.getId(),dir)

When I comment _setObject method, all runs correctly. But when I
discomment it, I get the next error:

 /home/conchimartin/instances/development/Products/CMFCore/FSPythonScript.py(142)_exec()

-&gt; raise RuntimeError, '%s has errors.' % self._filepath

When I put this line nor even logger asserts are printed.

I've tried putting the next lines in a AllowModules script:

from AccessControl import ModuleSecurityInfo

ModuleSecurityInfo('Products.CPSDirectory.ZODBDirectory').declarePublic('ZODBDirectory')
ModuleSecurityInfo('Products.CPSDirectory.CPSDirectoryTool').declarePublic('_setObject')

... Nothing.

Of course, I've tried to use manage_addCPSDirectory... but i don't think
this was a great idea...

Any smart people out there that could help me ?? Many thanks in advance.

    <description>
It depends. The trick is to know what object-specific data that should
be exported. For content that is based on CPSShemas there is an API,
you can get the schema of the content and get a list of the data that
should be exported. For other objects you simply have to treat each
content type separately.

LDAPDirectory and LDAPDirectoryVocabulary are old modules used
with previous versions of CPS.

The messages you are quoting are saying that those modules are disabled
which is correct for a configuration using CPSLDAPSetup,
which is your case.

To make CPS authenticate against an LDAP directory you only
need CPSDirectory + CPSLDAPSetup and a working python ldap module.

Using a chain of directories as CPSLDAPSetup installs is quite tricky.
It's powerful but complex.

Another action proposal :

Make a copy of the CPSDirectory product, and then go modify
the CPSDirectory files (I suggest you look at LDAPBackingDirectory.py
and BaseDirectory.py) so that the authentication
is not blocking you anymore.

Finally restart your Zope instance so that your changes are taken
into account.
