Hi Guys,

The project is active, but has been going slow for quite a while. The usual stories, people are very busy doing their day jobs and families. One person is having their first baby.

I would expect the next release to be made available in the next 4 weeks. However I can't be any more specific as it depends upon what time people have to contribute and regression testing.

regards Malcolm Edgar

<pre>Hi Guys,

There is work going on for the next release. I am just finishing up adding
some JQuery controls to Click Extras, then Bob will be looking at pushing
out the release.

One issue we have with adding JQuery is that its not compatible with some
of the older Click Extras prototype controls, such as DateField.

Its just something we will need to document and make people aware of.

I'm not a Click Contributor so I can't say "I'm working on it" but JIRA
&lt;https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLK&gt; definitely shows activity.
And JBoss 7 Modules support is listed as an Open issue for version 2.3.1,
although that issue is currently Unassigned.

<pre>Well, I find the current version good too.. I am just worried that the project is dead and wont be maintained, and that would be a problem. That is all I am trying to confirm, that the project is still active. Also, the feature for jboss 7 integration with modules seems like a great feature to have.

Thanks,
Sasipriya

Maybe you can contribute some code to get that new version.

I wonder, there are any features lacking in the current Click version? I find the current state useful for my needs. It could have some extra features, but as I don't have time or skills to implement those myself I'm in no position to demand anything.

MVEL broke some of our tests, so we cannot simply replace OGNL with MVEL. I think Malcolm might be
looking at creating a pluggable service so one can use replace OGNL with MVEL.

<pre>Hi all,

There seems to be a misconception on how Apache projects work[1]. There are no "leaders" on
projects, simply volunteers willing to contribute. Apache projects are run as a meritocracy[2].

Naoki doesn't have to ask permission to add features or fix bugs, he has full rights to do this :)

Hope this clears things up.

Kind regards

Bob

I'm not sure how multiple results will benefit the framework since the results is independent on
client side code to parse the results out. The project currently hosting the class contains
everything needed to make the solution work, why add half a solution to Click itself?

<pre>How about plan for the next Click release?

I raised an issue about MultipleActionResult support from Ajax4Click.
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLK-784

And I would like to take some issues and small new features in JIRA
for the next release. Can I do them?

Regards,
