I'm a complete newbie with version control. I'm following the Bitbucket
tutorial and I'm stuck on step 5.

Here's my directory listing and the output of the "git status" command.

Mark< at >MARKSLAPTOP-PC ~/repos/bb101repo-practice ((unknown))
$ ls -al
total 3
drwxr-xr-x 4 Mark Administ 0 May 24 06:18 .
drwxr-xr-x 1 Mark Administ 0 May 24 04:47 ..
drwxr-xr-x 1 Mark Administ 4096 May 24 04:48 .git
-rw-r--r-- 1 Mark Administ 123 May 24 06:18 README.txt
Mark< at >MARKSLAPTOP-PC ~/repos/bb101repo-practice ((unknown))
$ git status
fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git
Mark< at >MARKSLAPTOP-PC ~/repos/bb101repo-practice ((unknown))
$

As you can see, the current directory is bb101repo-practice, so I don't
understand why I'm getting that error. Does the problem have something to
do with "((unknown))" after my current path?

Thanks for any help.

The in-built emitter simply exports tables as flat data. (The BIRT viewer

Hi folks,

I'm a CS student and I have a scientific project in the university where
our main task is explore code forges (like Bitbucket) and extract methods
from its projects based on a certain criteria. For that, we need to search
the forge for the terms we want.

Currently we're working on adding support for Bitbucket and we're using its
official API, but we couldn't find if there's a way to perform search in
Bitbucket via its API like we can do in the main website.

If you know a way that could help me searching Bitbucket it'd be really
good to the project I'm working on.

best regards, everyone

This issue is fixed. It was due to some clients having a uniquely set
receivepack configuration. While I don't know what client decided to set
this, numerous users were affected because Bitbucket's system wasn't
designed to handle the non hyphenated git command syntax over SSH.
Bitbucket has now changed this to allow for both git-receive-pack and git
receive-pack to work.

For reference, check your global config and you'll probably see something
like:

remote.origin.receivepack git receive-pack

When, by default, it isn't set, but has a default of git-receive-pack
