Okay, the Python bindings I wrote for Funambol are based on a pretty old version of the C++ API. I'm currently fixing them so they can work with a recent version, which should fix everything, I hope. But this may take some time; the API has been completely revamped since then... auto save after every change

Hi, I have the feature "Auto save after every change" activated. I had Taskcoach for more then 2 hours active and changed a few things. Then I ended in taskmanager the wrong software, I ended taskcoach. When I reopened Taskcoach all my changes were gone. Does Taskcoach not an autosave after every change? Hi, I can't even synchronize with scheduleword :-( Error code: 2001 - 3 attempts. There shouldn't be any part of the Funambol configuration that is specific to Task Coach, so I'd start with the Funambol administration guide. Anyway, people have been having problems with from-scratch installations of Funambol server and Task Coach (actually not only Task Coach but the Funambol client API binding in general), this is something I'll have to investigate next week-end. On the free side, ScheduleWorld seems to work fine; MemoToo is paid but has a nicer interface. Those are the two servers I use for my tests. Cheers Jérôme ------------------------------------ Yahoo! It should. But there was a bug in the 0.71.3 release (and previous ones) about Task Coach SyncML feature not handling correctly a "Slow sync" request; this has been fixed in SVN. If you encounter a problem with this, please wait until the next release (0.71.4); if the problem persists then, open a bug report on SourceForge and I'll try my best to fix it. Question about SyncML and Setup of Funambol

Hello, I want to run a Funambol (SyncML) server at home and Sync up tasks from any location using Portable Task Coach. I can take care of all the networking stuff when that happens (such as port forwarding and all). Right now, I'm just trying to test everything on the same system, locally. Does anyone have documentation on how to properly set up Funambol with Task Coach, such as entry of a proper server URI, users, etc? Anything you might have would help. If not, I'll keep hammering away until I get it right. I'll post what I find out here, if it'll help the community. What free/paid online services are people using with Task Coach and SyncML? The fix is committed; it will be part of the next release. I'm also adding a "purge" menu item so that people who have been using Task Coach without SyncML and deleting task can get rid of them.
