Full latin and cyrillic coverage  is perfectly reasonable to aim for. I will look at cantarells character coverage and copy that. Italic will not be too much work, as they will basically be oblique versions of the roman, with some spacing adjustments. Ps I am working just on oxygen for the next week or 2, so I am hoping to get the basic latin in full working order in that time. The cyrillic is improving a lot too, but I will expect more work getting that just right.
