Hi,

Some of you might see, starting from tomorrow's nightly builds, that
SOGo will have a version number of 2.0.0. Yeah, that's right, SOGo
v2.0 is coming.

But, prior v2.0 is released, SOGo v1.3.9 will be, of course - as well
as other v1.3, most likely. We created the ca.inverse.sogo.1_3_9
branch (http://mtn.inverse.ca/branch/changes/ca.inverse.sogo.1_3_9)
just for this purpose.

Nightly builds will now be tagged as v2.0.0. So, what it is all about?
Important changes :-)

SOGo v2.0.0beta1, which is set to be released early next week will
feature native Microsoft Outlook compatibili</pre>

necessarily with some sysadmin skills, to work in a small group using
the linux environment. I am open to talk to anyone with any kind of
high level programming experience. The work will involve solar power
systems forecasting and financial modelling of solar energy
systems. It will be part of a large and interesting project, looking
at the integration of solar energy with grid power systems.

Tertiary qualifications in the physical sciences or computer science

excellent grades. Salary will be commensurate with skills and
experience and I can offer a 24 month contract at present. Fresh
graduates with excellent grades and good communications skills are
encouraged to apply, as are Singapore PRs and citizens (although the
positions are open to all).

<pre>Hi all,

Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School in Singapore is looking for an analyst
to help several research labs that are performing
genetic/high-throughput sequencing. The main responsibility of the role
is to be in charge of the server hardware, but I'd imagine that there is
also a big opportunity to learn about and help with data analysis.

The school is ideally looking for someone with at least 2 years of
system administration experience, but would consider hiring and training
a fresh graduate. If you are clueful enough to be on this mailing list,
then you're probably qualified :)

You can review the ad or apply via the Duke-NUS website
(http://www.duke-nus.edu.sg/web/jobs/administrative-professional-positions
- look for "System Analyst (Code: CSCB / SA)").

Feel free to contact me offlist if you have any informal questions about
Duke-NUS or the role.

For Outlook PST, I made use of the default email client in Ubuntu (I think it's called Evolution) and that was able to import my Outlook 2003 PST files in without any issues.

You may want to try that.

The PST is a file format for for Microsoft's email tools. You should be
asking Microsoft's tech/help forums for that.

<pre>One method I had adopted earlier:

1. Get access to an IMAP server ( I installed dovecot IMAP on a linux box)

2. Configure Outlook IMAP mail client (server name/IP, username, password
etc) on the machine containing Outlook

3. Copy the folders from Outlook (only those that you wish to convert to
HTML) to the IMAP server folder

4. Use a tool such as mhonarc to convert the mails to HTML - this happens on
the linux machine running IMAP server

5. Copy the HTML files to any webserver

The PST is a file format for for Microsoft's email tools. You should be
asking Microsoft's tech/help forums for that.

LUG on Google, I don't think so. I can host this free of charge.

<pre>Hi Anand,

If someone has the time to do that and that is the consensus, then that
would be a reasonable option.

Although I think it will be quite easy to rsync the VM contents to a new
VM instance and change the DNS - that was the sort of time I was
thinking of investing. But it does require a new VM instance somewhere.

To transfer the existing content from the wiki to a new wiki system with
a different format, and import the 7 or so years of list archives and
members to a new list system will be substantially more effort. If
someone is volunteering to do that, then it is certainly an option.

BTW LUGS should have enough in its bank account for a couple of years
worth of a small EBS instance on Amazon Singapore.

Michael.

<pre>Michael,

Why not move it to google groups and google pages? No admin needed and free

regards
Anand
