xalan and dependency to org.apache.xml.resolver

Hi All,

 I want use xalan in OSGI environment.
I tried to osgify the xalan distribution  using bnd.jar, the following
dependencies came up in import package section of Manifest.MF
·         org.apache.xml.resolver.readers; version="1.2.0",·
org.apache.xml.resolver; version="1.2.0",
the dependencies are resolved only after install org.apache.xmlresolver.
I have  the following questions on the same.

1.       Is the distribution <http://xml.apache.org/xalan-j/>
self-sufficient. Does it need any external dependencies that need to be
available at runtime?
2.       Is it required to add org.apache.xmlresolver to your runtime to
use xalan?
3.       Could you please help in the right way about which tools to use to
osgify the xalan ?

Hi!

Thanks for writing. The xerces-p project that created the XML-Xerces
perl module is frozen at the 2.7 version. We never completed a 3.0
binding before I ran out of time and interest.

I'm having a very similar problem with key/keyref constraints.  I'm running
the free xml editor that
comes with Eclipse 3.5 no problems are being detected.  Did you ever find
out what was going on?

Unique, key, and keyref

I have a schema (http://abstractgamers.org/xml/iago-report.xsd) that
imposes a couple of unique and key/keyref constraints.  I'm using
XML::Xerces (obviously) and have tried using both validator.pl and
validator-dom.pl included in the distribution (using --full_schema).  I
am attempting to validate an instance document
(http://abstractgamers.org/xml/iago-report-test.xml) but it refuses to
flag the duplicate "iagoid" attribute in the <player> elements.  The
Xerces documentation suggests that these constraints are supported, but
I just don't know what else to try to make that happen.  I would greatly
appreciate any help you could offer.
