The Outages list is receiving hard bounces from *some* email address hosted
at Qwest/Centurylink.

Alas, the bounce message comes from "qwestrsp-Og7d35KcFB0HrNJx0XZkJA< at >public.gmane.org", and neither
the headers nor the message body *identifies the invalid address*.

This does not seem to conform with best practices.  :-)

If you're in responsible charge of that mail service, could you please
contact me off-list, that we might track down who it is, and maybe modify
your bouncer to properly include the bounced address?

(Side note: what error messages are generate by *code you've written*, folks,
that don't include parameters because "they should be obvious to the sender"?)

Hm..  this might be no big deal if not for public key pinning and CA
pinning in modern browsers of certain sites,  they could just get
themselves 2048 bit certificates from any CA...

So what could otherwise be a routine certificate change, may have some
unusual extra baggage attached to it -- requiring end users performing
software code update in their only slightly outdated browsers,
instead of just switching certificates,   so they stop getting big red
SSL errors when trying to perform searches via Google...

I saw something similar to this on May 15th, and it started roughly

I would not be surprised if this was some kind of Netsol maintenance
that they just don't bother announcing.

Clients with domains registered at Network Solutions are reporting their sites are inaccessible. The issue looks to be related to worldnic.com DNS services.

http://dnscheck.pingdom.com/ shows the following errors:

* Delegation not found at parent:
No delegation could be found at the parent, making your zone unreachable from the Internet
* Not enough nameserver information was found to test the zone www.<domain>.com, but an IP address lookup succeeded in spite of that.

The issue looks to be resolved now, but did anyone here notice similar issues?
