It looks/sounds like it. A shame the entire show isn't available. I almost like "This" raw early phase better than some the later stuff (though its not alot to go by).

Since it really sounds like an early Praxis live peformance (maybe the first live Praxis ever?!), this could be it.

Glad you like 'Survive'. I thought it came out quite good, and it's nice to
see Hawk release a full-length finally.

The upcoming Jano release "Ertale" is tentatively due on June 26. Great
stuff. Hopefully I'll get the OK to post the artwork somewhere (on the site
or Facebook) soon - unless it happens to show up on Amazon or the like
first. Great Doze piece. Different from the original cover I saw a few
months ago.

Hawk Vinyl and next MOD Technologies release

For anyone who ordered the Garrison Hawk vinyl - thanks for being patient.
I believe Redeye intends to have it out today as it was re-scheduled from
the date that coincided with the CD release. Manufacturing delays because
there was a lot of care put into this (i.e. high quality vinyl, not just a
thrown together release). Will be worth the wait if you're a vinyl fan.

The next release is tentatively scheduled for June 26. Jano's 'Ertale'.
Killer Ethiopian rock band recorded at the new studio in Addis Ababa. This
has been in rotation for me for months. I think it's a killer release. Part
of the planned Method Ethiopia batch of releases. Artwork by Doze Green,
which has been tweaked from the original version I saw and is even better.

Yes - sorry...even though the label is fairly closely aligned with Bill, I shouldn't assume everyone is familiar. 

Stephen has it right. Bill actually lent the money that got the label started. Tons of really great stuff on the label. Skiz has a ton of other balls in the air (published cook books and such) so as a result of that and economics, the label does not release that much anymore.

The new Spectre album (vinyl) is ready to go, but needs to be mastered
before it can be released. Skiz has started (actually, a while back

was it called "This" or no one knows what it was billed as?i guess it's just Bucket trying to do the Nicky "sounding" guitar part (from 8:02 to 9:15) on Tarab.bill's powerful & upfront playing in "this" has not be heard near enough in recent years.i must say this is some of the best Praxis (if thats what it is/was) playing by i've heard. second only to the Bonnaroo show (if not better).a shame the entire show isn't in circulation.

What's relevant is, Tarab has always been a great composition and favorite of mine, and Nicky's second album was the one to feature it with this title first. It might sometimes take days and then - "damn, that's tarab". To my complete astonishment Nicky when I asked him 3 years ago gave full composition credits to Jah Wobble. I never heard it on any of his, Jah Wobble's, releases. This is a praxised version of the tarab, or an ecstated version of the praxis, it doesn't matter what one wants to call it, because convergence is the plan any way, and that festival had billed mainly Bill and Bill came along 
 with This.
