list.org upgrade

Quick heads up that the owners of the list.org domain will be upgrading the
machine today.  This should only affect www.list.org and perhaps email
< at >list.org.  It will not affect the wiki or the mailing lists.

The downtime should be minimal and the IP addresses will remain the same after
the upgrade.

In the meantime, you can always use the various www mirrors:

 * http://mailman.sourceforge.net/

I am happy to announce the final release of Mailman 2.1.15. This
release is identical to the 2.1.15rc1 release except for the version
number and the inclusion of a missing part of the HTML installation
manual.

Python 2.4 is the minimum supported, but Python 2.6 is recommended.
This release should work with Python 2.7, but has not been tested with
that version.

This release includes minor security enhancements, new features and
bug fixes. See the Changelog at

Mailman is free software for managing email mailing lists and
e-newsletters. Mailman is used for all the python.org and

Now that Mailman 3 is in beta, I would like to spend more time working
on it. To that end, I am planning to release Mailman 2.1.15 soon. This
release fixes quite a few bugs and adds some needed new features. See
the NEWS file at

This release contains several new message strings and a template
modification, none of which have been translated. So, if you are a
language champion or just an interested user or anything between, I need
your help.

There is a new feature to request a password reminder from the private
archive login page. This necessitated an addition to
templates/<language>/private.html. I have added the new information to
all the templates, but it is in English. If you can help translate this
into your language, get the private.html template from your language
directory at
<http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~mailman-coders/mailman/2.1/files/head:/templates/>,
and send me a translated template.
