I want to drag several address book folders into others and make them subfolders. But I cannot drag and drop. is there another way to move a whole address book folder into another address book folder, to make it a sub-folder? Is there another command or, maybe, a trick?

Does anyone has Tango icons pack for Becky? I have used them for years and really liked them, but lost .dll file yesterday. I downloaded icons pack on Lognrock forum long time ago, but forum is down for some time. I know there are icons on skwire.net: http://www.skwire.net/~apps/becky/icons/

but there is no tango icons.

The developer (Carty) has tried to work on this in the past, and
succeeded to fix it for one version, only to see the problem come back
in the next.

I use åäöÅÄÖ for Swedish emails, and it works (I have UTF-8 set). 

Not sure about the details you guys are pointing out, but I will ask
Carty to read these posts so that he can consider trying to tix it.

This corroborates what I have said elsewhere about Becky being predominantly
but not 100% Unicode compliant.

I don't know why it should be so, and I suspect that it is almost never an
issue for the majority of users, especially if they never need to use
languages with diacritical marks or CKJ characters. But it's an issue that I
wish the developer would address.

One workaround you might try if you use Windows is to specify iso-8859-1 as
the "language for non-Unicode programs" on the Administrative tab of the
Region and Language dialog box (WinXP and Win7).

Hi,

is the developer reading this list? Or where to send bug reports? I
try it here...

There is a problem (for years, until the newest version) when there is
activated "Setup/Message View/HTML View/Convert to plain text".
When mail text contains mutated vowels (&auml; &ouml; &uuml; and also
&szlig;), they and the next character(!) are not shown.
Example: 
M&uuml;tze -> Mze (right: "Mütze")
Fu&szlig;g&auml;nger -> Fuger (right: "Fußgänger")

When Becky doesn't understand vowels at all, it should not suppress
the following character. A little bit better would be:
M&uuml;tze -> M_tze
Fu&szlig;g&auml;nger -> Fu_g_nger

BTW, less important:
It seems to be no difference, when "(text/html) als attachment file"
is (un)checked. HTML is always shown as a attachment.

BTW 2: I'm sad, that there's no reaction to my help offer/request about
German translation...

  was not working correctly.
- BUGFIX: Nickname is not expanded when different address group is set

- CardDAV support now includes Windows XP. (Not supported before XP)
- "Sync with Portable Media" has an option not to use Windows' task tray,
  so that Becky! in the portable media do not leave the history of using
  task tray.

No drag and drop in Becky....... but
Best I can offer is in each folder select first address then Ctrl+A,
Ctrl+X, then Ctrl+V in the new group and do that for each group you want
to move.
3 Key command sets times 10 folders.... shouldn't take more than 5 mins.

Is there a way in Becky to drag and drop address book groups (folers) into another one? I have like ten I want to combine into one and creating a new group folder inside another and then moving them all a few at a time is dauntingly tedious! Thanks in advance.
