This issues is resolved now. Basically we reopened earlier issues reported
against gnu-free-sans

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=871252

Now we are removing Indian languages from gnu-free-sans fontconfig file as
well.

Thanks Akira for your response.

I created a new test case [1] and added to the test cases list.
It's really simple but enough for this ibus-bogo release.

Thanks everyone for updating test cases. i18n test day for f19 has been
gone. still open to see more results though, closing this ticket so that
the preparation phase has been finished.

Comment:

Thanks everyone for contributing/updating the i18n docbeats. as per the
schedule, the wiki has been frozen and any updates on there won't be
automatically reflected to the release notes anymore. if we need to
update, we have to file a bug to the fedora-release-notes component and
ask docs team for it.

Please do it as needed I'll close this ticket.

Hey, folks. This is a bit late, but I wanted to draw your attention to
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=837292 . The systemd folks
and Vitezslav Crhonek are working on a plan to stop the insanity of
having an entirely different set of keyboard layouts for consoles (kbd)
and X (xkb).

The short-term plan is to replace the kbd layouts with a set of layouts
that have been generated from the xkb layouts. There's a test package in
comment #38:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=837292#c38

which Vitezslav was looking for some feedback on. I was hoping people on
this list might be able to provide the feedback he wanted, and perhaps
look at the changes in the package compared to the old kbd and see if
you can see any issues with this approach.

Hopefully, once this is done, it will be a good solution to
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=889562 for most languages:
we will no longer have the cases where you pick an xkb layout in
anaconda and systemd-localed can't find any ma

Hi,

You could write a test case for ibus-bogo like other engines do.
Please see links at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2013-05-02_Internationalization/Results/Input_lang for each test cases.

Hi All,

As you know Parag is taking over to system-config-language package, i
thought will give him clean upstream release to start work.

Just done upstream release of system config language 1.3.6,
https://fedorahosted.org/releases/s/y/system-config-language/system-config-
language-1.3.6.tar.bz2<https://fedorahosted.org/releases/s/y/system-config-language/system-config-language-1.3.5.tar.bz2>

Basically resolved inconsistencies and applied local patches from Fedora
in upstream. Resolved po errors and updated pot files. See changelog for
more details.

Well, basically there are no changes how to access the preferences for engines. it's the same to f18 that you can access from gnome-control-center only - select the input source what you want to see the preference. click the gear icon at the bottom of the input sources section.

Maybe I got the point. you may need to restart ibus and/or applications, or desktop session to enable it.

In addition to that, I had some more points:

Input (overall):-

1] I agree with Ani on the following point: The link to view/update the

2] Gnome Input Method Integration IBus : This test case is more
applicable for f18 but not applicable for f19, because There is no
restart button on ibus icon as UI changed totally in f19 and For change
the layout, Hot key has been changed from "ctrl+space" to "Super+space".

Few suggestions are listed down, which were found during the dry run of
the i18n test cases:

1. Each time after you do the testing, need to to come back to the test
day page and then scroll down to go the Result section
Suggestion: Provide the link for result page on each test case page and
also link each result page to the test case page.
ie. In the "Input (Overall) section, we have two test cases: QA:Testcase
i18n ibus input and QA:Gnome Input Method Integration IBus.
(i) Provide the link for the result page of Input (Overall) in these two
test cases' page so that from tester perspective navigating between test
case and result pages will be easier.
(ii) Also can provide these two test cases' pages link in
