<pre>Alexander,

Welcome to Fedora Docs. We're about a week away from the release of
Fedora 17, so the group is wrapping up processes right now. Once the
Fedora 18 cycle begins, there will be plenty of opportunity for you to
jump in. In the meantime, look around and feel free to ask questions
here on the list or in the #fedora-docs room on irc.freenode.net. We
have weekly IRC meetings[0] at 1400 UTC on Mondays in #fedora-meeting.

We're looking forward to working with you!

Self-introduction

<pre>I have written a lot of academic papers for my English classes. I covered a
variety of topics in those papers. I wrote a screen play based on the
"Killer Angles" novel by Michael Shaara. I wrote a descriptive paper on
series and parallel electrical circuitries and another descriptive paper on
the process of long division. I can go on about the history of Linux for
15-20 pages. I am two years into studying for a BS in Electrical
Engineering so my skill set is a beginner's level of c and c++ and I am
taking a java class over the summer. I am learning a lot about linux from
Fedora 16's documentation and I want to be able to keep it easy to learn
for users of future version. I am getting a "service unavailable" prompt
when I tried to sync my key with server specified.

Thank you.

When you look at the list of languages, you can see that many of them have

should be merged into the correct ones.

For your guide, this should mean just merging Japanese, Dutch, Russian and
Ukrainian, and delete the rest of the lang codes as there are apparently no
translations into other languages available for your guide.

As I said during today's meeting, feel free to ping me on #fedora-docs if
you need any help.

Hi:

I have attempted to do this for the Musicians' Guide for the Fedora 16
revision.[1] I will not publish this Guide in English for Fedora 17
because I haven't made many changes.

Could somebody please confirm that everything is correct?

Thanks,
Christopher.

técnica" in Brazil) and started study about IT. When I was 20 I went to

I worked with programming (web programming and java) and mobile phone
programming too. I worked with GNU/Linux as system administrator t</pre>

Thanks Joshua and Jared for voluntering. I will wait until F17 has been
released to start shaping the FAD.

By the way I will keep an eye on the online experience to be held on
APAC FUDCon

Best regards.

Re: FUDCon KL Docs Hack system is live!

<pre>Thanks to everyone who has tested it so far. We've uncovered and fixed some issues that would have been showstoppers at FUDCon!

We need more testing, so keep trying it out.

I've also opened a couple of bugs for later:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=821570 (props to gomix) &lt;- hope to fix this one before FUDCon
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=821572 (props to ianweller)

As some have noted, this system makes it easy for a new person to contribute with no need to:
* use git
* install any tools
* design a book from the ground up

and it also will enable:
* assigning different sections of a book to different groups
