PAM 1.1.6-3 breaks vsftpd 2.3.4-1. After upgrading, local users aren't
allowed to log in:

Rebuilding vsftpd with most current version from git didn't help.

I had a problem with john miller's bash script because bash didn't die
quickly enough for the microsleep to get re-parented by init (upstart),
so here is a better version:

any chance to fix that rpm won't crash? rpm should not  crash if .rpm
file is corrupted, it should refuse to install it or recover at it's
best guess (if possible)
