So, here's what I've found when attempting to locate "new" code.
http://openisp.net/unxsBind/ is where google sends me when searching
for unxsbind.

I've also gotten thrown at http://venus.openisp.net/openisp/mysqlBind

http://openisp.net/openisp/unxsVZ lists svn commands, but they're out
of date, as that no longer seems to be the right tag

I've also found http://openisp.net/openisp/unxsVZ/wiki/InstallingBindYum

These docs all seem disconnected and it's unclear what's the most
relevant and current. The code I see in SVN, here:

http://openisp.net/public-svn/unxsVZ/tags/unxsBind-2.0-stable

says it's v2.0.

http://unixservice.com/source/ lists tarballs for 3.1 and I have
version 3.1-1 installed from the r</pre>

<pre>The vmware appliance is very old. PLease use the svn code, make , make
install. You will have to also make make install the template lib and
the cidr lib.

Cheers!

BUT when I go for the rest: admin, vorg and org. I get this error:

cc -c main.c -o main.o -Wall

main.c:381: error: âLOCALCOPYRIGHTâ undeclared (first use in this function)
main.c:381: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
main.c:381: error: for each function it appears in.)

I could define LOCALCOPYRIGHT but I have no clue what this "should" be.. any pointers?

So i realized the problem with the missing lucidr and compiled that.. I believe now to have all the pre-req's mentioned for compiling this, yet I ran into another error during compiling now:

Sounds like a bug. Probably in import.c or bind.c edit to fix and compile.

import.c should have a working parser to import BIND db files. But is
not beyond simplistic beta level code.

Is there any good solution to importing bind .db files and zone files ?

It gets a hostmaster. dns.unixservice.com field.. Where do I change that ??
I can see the normal cHostmaster, which I have changed to correspond to my setup..
But in regards to importing ip-blocks.. anyone? :)

If you run into any problems let us know here with examples and we will help you.

<pre>It should work for 6.3, we only test and develop on the CentOS 5 series.

You will have to make install and move the init.d and cron.d files into
place yourself, as well as the html bits. To make install you will also
have to make install the unxs template and cidr LIBS.

If you run into any problems let us know here with examples and we will
help you.

<pre>

The vm is very dated, we will be building a new one as soon as possible.

Sorry for the delays we are severely understaffed and overworked ;)
